Pot Cakes Dynasty League 2025 Mock Draft

Good morning everyone, we are taking a new approach this year. Little to no research and just gut instinct. Let’s get into and see where some of the future fantasy stars end up.

1 – Tennessee Titans

Cam Ward – QB – University of Miami

Titans need a QB, Cam Ward is a QB. Hopefully Cam can ward off defenders unlike their last QB.

2 – Cleveland Browns

Travis Hunter – WR/CB – Colorado

Travis Hunter is the most exciting player in this draft. We have no idea what position he’ll play, all we know is whatever team has him needs to get him the ball. Hunter can move up and down fantasy draft boards depending on what position he decides to play.

3 – New York Giants

Abdul Carter – Edge – Penn State

Giants need help everywhere. Carter is the best player in the draft. There’s a chance the Giants move back, but I think they just need take Carter and try to move back into the back of the first.

4 – New England Patriots

Will Campbell – OT – LSU

Drake Maye is the QB, Pats need to protect him, Vrabel is a no nonsense guy, this is the no nonsense pick.

5 – Jacksonville Jaguars

Mason Graham – DT – Michigan

A lot of late buzz has the Jags taking a skill position here. Coach Liam Coen does not need more attention. Take the boring pick and let the heat wear off.

6 – Las Vegas Raiders

Ashton Jeanty – RB – Boise State

This is unfortunate for Jeanty in the sense that he won’t win a lot of football games. This is cool for everyone else because Jeanty will get the ball a lot.

7  – New York Jets

Armand Membou – OT – Missouri

Jets need a lot of help. A solid tackle is a good foundation piece for a rebuild that may take 10 years.

8 – Carolina Panthers

Jalon Walker – LB – Georgia

A common theme among these top picks is that they just need good players. Jalon Walker is a good player going to a bad team.

9 – New Orleans Saints

Will Johnson – CB – Michigan

See comment above. Will Johnson is a good player going to a bad team.

10 – Chicago Bears

Tyler Warren – TE – Penn State

This is a fun pick. Bears “have the pieces” so why not help out the QB. Tight Ends are a volatile draft pick. You never know which ones will work out. It’s an exciting pick for the Bears and also exciting for the rest of the division to see if it works out.

11 – San Francisco 49ers

Walter Nolen – DT – Ole Miss

The 49ers would be a team to keep an eye on to see if they move back in the draft. If I was betting on this pick, I think it’s d-line, but the 49ers could go a number of different directions with this pick.

12 – Dallas Cowboys

Omarion Hampton – RB – North Carolina

Jerry is known for splash picks. I think the Lions up and getting Gibbs last year shifts how teams value RBs. Jerry is usually a little late to the party, but hopefully for Hampton it’s the right fit.

13 – Miami Dolphins

Jahdae Barron – CB – Texas

Dolphins will likely move on from Ramsey. Dolphins will look to replace Ramsey.

14 – Indianapolis Colts

Kelvin Banks Jr. – OT – Texas

Why not give Danny Dimes some help and see if he’s got anything left in the tank?

15 – Atlanta Falcons

Mike Green – Edge – Marshall

The Falcons made a splash pick last year by going Penix, this year they do it by taking the small school pass rusher.

16 – Arizona Cardinals

Tetairoa McMillan – WR – Arizona

Logistically, this pick makes sense. As far as addressing the Cardinals biggest draft needs, it does not.

17 – Cincinnati Bengals

Mykel Williams – Edge – Georgia

The Bengals had one of the worst defenses in the NFL. The Bengals need to take the best defensive player available. Williams is that pick.

18 – Seattle Seahawks

Matthew Golden – WR – Texas

You can’t spell Matthew Golden without Golden Tate. D.K. and Tyler Lockett are gone (likely). Maybe Matthew Golden is like one of the three, maybe he’s not like any of them. Seahawks will take a swing here and see if they can end up with a solid WR duo.

19 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jihaad Campbell – LB – Alabama

The Buccaneers always find a good LB. Campbell can be that guy for them and be the cornerstone to their defense for years to come.

20 – Denver Broncos

TreVeyon Henderson – RB – Ohio State

Now this is a risky pick. Sean Payton is a risky guy, but he can make the most out of anyone. Payton has his QB, now he has his RB. The Broncos will be a fun team to watch if this happens.

21 – Pittsburgh Steelers

Shedeur Sanders – QB – Colorado

I have Shedeur going between pick 21 and 25. If he makes it past the Steelers, someone will jump back in and get him. Tomlin can win 9 games with anyone, so might as well make it someone fun to watch.

22 – Colston Loveland – TE – Michigan

Harbough, Michigan, a guy that will block. I mean this is a match made in heaven.

23 – Green Bay Packers

Maxwell Hairston – CB – Kentucky

The Packers love taking corners and once upon a time took a player from Kentucky. Maxwell checks both those boxes.

24 – New York Giants via trade with the Minnesota Vikings

Giants trade away a 2026 1st and Pick 34 and 99 for Vikings Pick 24

Jaxson Dart – QB – Ole Miss

I’m not running the numbers here, this is the trade I think is going to happen. There are rumblings that only 1 QB will go in the first. I don’t buy it. GMs and Coaches will always convince themselves that their QB is the right QB. Dart is the guy for New York, will Daboll be around long enough to see it through.

25 – Houston Texans

Emeka Eguka – WR – Ohio State

C.J. Stroud is Ohio State. Emeka is Ohio State. Diggs is gone.

26 – Los Angeles Rams

Malaki Starks – S – Georgia

I don’t know what the Rams need. Starks is a good player, this is one of the gut picks.

27 – Baltimore Ravens

James Pearce Jr. – Edge – Tennessee

Pearce could go early, he could go late. The Ravens usually take a defensive player that turns out to be pretty good. JPJ will go from one of the best college jersey colors to the best NFL jersey colors.

28 – Detroit Lions

Tyler Booker – G – Alabama

Lions need interior line help, they opt for the G from the better school. Booker won’t be a bookend for the Lions but he’ll be a key chapter.

29 – Washington Commanders

Nick Emmanwori – S – South Carolina

This is another gut pick. Safeties usually fall to late in the first, so we have two teams snagging Safeties late in the first.

30 – Buffalo Bills

Derrick Harmon – DT – Oregon

Bills like to get a pass rush. Plug the middle and let the edges get after the QB.

31 – Kansas City Chiefs

Kenneth Grant – DT – Michigan

Chris Jones can’t play forever.

32 – Philadelphia Eagles

Grey Zabel – G – North Dakota State

Great teams just add pieces. Zabel can help out their line, this is the smart play while the Eagles look to run it back.

That is the prediction for the First Round. While this is a “down draft” I think this makes fantasy interesting. If we have 3 QBs, 3 RBs, 3 WRs, and 2 TEs go in the first, mock rookie fantasy drafts will be all over the place. I think RBs are the move this year, but I know someone that would like for an RB to move down to pick 1.11 in the rookie dynasty draft. Hopefully your team gets someone good. Until next time, I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.

Pot Cakes Dynasty League Championship Recap

Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Championship Recap. With the holidays in the middle of the wee it made the preview difficult. Here you’ll find all the buildup and result of the Championship Round. Let’s get to it.

v.

#3 JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. #5 Bruce

The 2021 Championship Rematch. In 2021 Bruce was the 2 seed and JD3 was the 5. JD3 was a top team for the first 75% of the season before a late collapse resulting in the 3 seed. Bruce started out slow, was in the middle ground for a stretch, and then closed out the season hot. Bruce having a QB shuffle of Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow. JD3 and Bruce both made moves. JD3 added Kamara while Bruce added Cook and Metcalf. JD3 did not have a first in the last draft while Bruce had a couple, Bruce grabbed Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. in the rookie draft. This matchup was unforeseen by the league. Both JD3 and Bruce pulled off upsets to find themselves in the championship. Upset is an understatement, both were major underdogs. As for this game, the big one, Bruce was favored by 10 points going into it. JD3 had Mahomes while Bruce had Burrow. Bruce had JT, James Cook, and Najee at RB. JD3 had Hunt and Dobbins. JD3 had Chase, Nico, McLaurin, Mooney, Keenan, and D-Hop at WR. Bruce had DK, Nabers, Brian Thomas, DJ Moore, and Jauan Jennings. At TE JD3 had Conklin and Bruce had Likely. Bruce was without Evan Engram for the Championship. JD3 was without Kamara, Otton, Sanders, Diggs, and Brooks. JD3 would strike first with Mahomes putting up 38 early while Hunt and D-Hop would combine for 10. Dobbins helped things with 15 as well. JD3 had an ok lead but it would come down to how Burrow did. JD3 would see 18 from Conklin and 15 from Chase. Unfortunately for JD3, Terry had 1, Allen and Mooney each had 5, and Nico added 8. Bruce needed a above average week from Burrow. He got that and then some. Burrow put up a monster 51 points. Najee had 9, Cook 11, DJ Moore 9, Jennings 10, DK 6, and Likely 7. Bruce not only saw a monster performance from Burrow, but also his young guys. Bruce saw 20 from Brian Thomas Jr. It did not stop there. Bruce saw 27 from JT. It DID NOT STOP THERE. Bruce saw 33 from Malik Nabers in the Championship Game. While there was hope early for JD3 that went away early. Bruce wins the Championship 183.5 to 113.1. Bruce is the new Champion and the league’s 5th Champion.

Bruce had the following to add, “I’d like to thank my league mates for all the support during this season. Specifically Mush for running the show, PeePaw, Batman, TDG, DW, Trashman, and Mush for being great trade partners, Pistol and CrossFit for recently being engaged married, Teach for inspiring me to want to be a better golfer, and B.B. for making me feel like a better golfer. All of these managers have always been good decent opponents who I enjoyed competing with all year. Rest up off-season trading starts soon!”

JD3 had the following to say, “Health is wealth and we broke.”

Join me on congratulating Bruce the 2024 Pot Cakes Dynasty League Champion.

v.

#1 Touchdown Guy v. #2 Batman

Neither team probably thinks that they should be in this game. Unfortunately, a down week at the wrong time does that. TDG and Batman had plenty of big names. At QB TDG has the Tall Josh Allen and Batman has Lamar Jackson. Their RBs consist of RBs that perform week in and week out. TDG has D-Henry, James Conner, and Josh Jacobs. Batman has Kyren, Achane, Bucky Irving, and D-Swift. TDG has the WR duo of Kupp and Puka, Higgins, Ladd, and Mike Evans. Batman has DeVonta Smith, Zay Flowers, Jakobi Meyers, and Quentin Johnston. The TE matchup was TDG with Kittle and Batman with McBride. I think the only difference is the WR matchup favoring TDG. Batman was without Olave while TDG was without Chris Godwin. This was a doozy of a matchup, I believe TDG has a 15 point favorite going into it. Batman would win the QB battle with 36 for Lamar and 30 for Allen. Batman would also win the TE matchup, McBride had 24 and Kittle had 15. RB wise, Batman also won 51 combined points from Swift, Kyren, Achane, and Bucky Irving. Bucky leading the way with 21. TDG saw 37 from Henry, Conner, and Jacobs. Henry had 24 and Conner left early with an injury and had 2. The WR matchup was one sided. TDG had 3 monster performances, 1 above average, while Batman had 1 monster and 1 above average. TDG saw 3 from Kupp. That was the bad. The good was 35 from Tee Higgins, 26 from Mike Evans, 25 from Ladd McKonkey, and 18 from Puka. Batman saw 27 from DeVonta, 15 from Jakobi, 7 from Q-Johnston, and 4 from Zay. TDG won the 3rd place spot with a score of 188.8 to 164. TDG ended the year, like many weeks before, as lead dog.

Consolation Bracket.

v.

#7 CrossFit v. #8 Pistol

There was a lot on the line for this week. The 1.13 pick. This is a luxury pick, maybe take a chance on a QB or TE, or just add depth. This pick can be paired to move up or used for a vet. There are a lot of options here. CrossFit was likely the favorite heading into this matchup. CrossFit has an old team and needs this pick worse than others. CrossFit saw 37 out of Goff, 18 from Barkley, 18 from Kelce, 16 from St. Brown, 14 from Deebo, 13 from Cooper, and 13 from Demario Douglas. This was a great week from CrossFit. Pistol would need a perfect lineup to get it done. Pistol saw 43 from Purdy, 24 from Gibbs, 14 from G-Wilson, 11 from A.J. Brown, and 11 from Chase Brown. Pistol had the better team this week. The problem was that Pistol pulled a CrossFit. Pistol started the wrong guy. If Pistol went with Kyle Pitts (which you can’t do because he’s been bad) over Dalton Kincaid, Pistol would have the 1.13. That didn’t happen and CrossFit wins 147.29 to 140.17. CrossFit walks away with the 1.13 and Pistol adds the 2.13.

v.

#9 Daddy Wombat v. #10 PeePaw

This matchup was for the coveted pick 3.13. Surely everyone would set their lineup with a pick on the line. PeePaw did. PeePaw ended the year hot. PeePaw had CrossFit on the ropes last weekend, and threw D.W. out of the building this week. PeePaw had 36 from Herbert, 28 from Mims, 22 from Jameo Williams, 14 from Warren, 13 from Jefferson, 10 from Coleman, and 10 from Jonnu Smith. D.W. did not set their lineup and did not hit 100 points. PeePaw won 143.63 to 84.95. PeePaw adds the 3.13 and D.W. added 4.13.

Well that does it for this year. It was a crazy year. CMC out to start. A lot of top end WRs being injured. A lot of rookies showing up. A new champion too. Bruce was the only team that thought Bruce could win the championship this year (much like B.B. was the only team that thought B.B. would, the difference being that one actually won). We will have to see what the future of the league holds. We have teams that fail to set their lineup week in and week out. We have teams that try to vote for league rules that only benefit their team. We have a Commissioner with a contract that needs to be renewed by the league. We will see what the offseason brings, but until next time I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow. Mush, you’re on the clock.

Pot Cakes Dynasty League Semi Final Round Recap (and mini Championship Preview)

Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Semi Final Round Recap. It is the holiday season, so I hope you are not upset. As for these playoffs, there is plenty to be upset about. Let’s take a peak. Also, we will have one big recap to summarize the championship.

v.

#1 Touchdown Guy v. #5 Bruce

TDG put up points all regular season. The problem is that this is the playoffs. Bruce is a liar and a cheat. TDG saw 16 from Josh Allen. That was the sword that broke the camel’s back. Conner had 25 and Henry had 20. Higgins added his own 16 and Kittle had 15. It would still take a miracle for Mike Evans and Josh Jacobs to overcome the 45 point deficit headed into Sunday and Monday night. Bruce had Burrow put up 33, JT put up 40, James Cook had 26, and Brian Thomas had 24. Bruce had some big performances and a comfortable lead heading into the night games. Mike Evans and Josh Jacobs combined for 28. It was not enough. Bruce moves on to his second title appearance and is chasing his first title. Bruce wins 169.2 to 144.5.

v.

#2 Batman v. #3 JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons

This matchup would be settled with Batman having Bucky Irving going Sunday night. Batman would need 25 from Bucky. JD3 saw an early 31 from Mahomes who outperformed Batman’s Lamar who had 30. JD3 had a big week from Kareem with 15. JD3 had 19 from Chase, 15 from McLaurin, and a surprise 25 from Keenan Allen. Batman had 28 from Achane and 19 from Kyren. The big question is what Bucky ended up with. Bucky ended with 17. It was not enough, it made a game out of it, but not enough. JD3 wins 142.6 to 133.75.

The Championship matchup is set. #3 JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. #5 Bruce. What an epic collapse by the #1 and #2 seeds. All that jockeying for the first round byes just to lose, that’s going to be a long off-season. Bruce has been a thorn in JD3’s side for a long time. Will JD3 bury Bruce, or will this be one of those movies where the bad guy wins?

Consolation Bracket.

v.

#7 CrossFit v. #10 PeePaw

This one went how we thought it would. CrossFit had the guys, Hubbard had 31, Barkley had 27, Deebo showed up with 22, and St. Brown had 16. PeePaw put up a fight, even if it was two guys swinging. Justin Jefferson had 31 and Jameson Williams had 24. CrossFit has the chance to salvage a season by gaining a first round pick. CrossFit wins 155.6 to 129.46.

v.

#8 Pistol v. #9 Daddy Wombat

D.W. was hurt losing Hurts early. JSN had 20, Gus Bus had 20, Tank Dell had 20, and Xavier Worthy had 17. D.W. had a big week, the problem is not having a full game out of Hurts. Pistol had a good week too. Ford had 24, Gibbs had 23, A.J. Brown had 20, and Davante added 16. Pistol just had better performances across the board plus a QB. Pistol gets to take on CrossFit in the consolation championship. Pistol wins 151.58 to 124.99.

CrossFit and Pistol will put it all on the line for a shot at pick 1.13. PeePaw will receive pick 3.13 and D.W. will receive pick 4.13. Sure, PeePaw and D.W. are playing for those picks, but D.W. is terrible.

Pot Cakes Dynasty League Semi Final Preview

Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Semi Final Round. Four teams are gone. All were bums. Eight teams remain, only two are any good. Let’s see how things shake out this week and what is all on the line.

v.

#1 Touchdown Guy v. #5 Bruce

TDG is a former champion. Bruce is, was, and always will be a loser. TDG has endless firepower. TDG is projected 170 points. That is his projection. He hit 200 this year. TDG was electric all year. TDG did this with the Tall Josh Allen, D-Train, James Conner, Josh Jacobs, Puka, Kupp, Ladd, Tee, Evans, and Kittle. Godwin is on IR and Ridley is on the bench. TDG’s team is juicy thick. Bruce is bad. He doesn’t have much. Bruce is starting Noah Gray at TE. That’s bad. I think years of mismanagement has Bruce going home this weekend. Bruce has Brian Thoms, Nabers, and James Cook. Right now, TDG is a 39 point favorite in the semis. TDG wins this by a lot and is back in the big dance.

v.

#2 Batman v. #3 JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons

I think Batman beat JD3 in the semis last year. History is likely to repeat itself. Batman has been solid all year. He did it without Olave too. The guy saw a resurgence out of his team during the second half of the season. De’Andre Swift is playing well, McBride is so hot, Bucky Irving has had big weeks, Achane and Kyren are stable backs, Zay, DeVonta, Jakobi, and Quintin all do things. The secret sauce, it’s Lamar. Lamar has been electric. The top two teams had elite QB play. JD3 doesn’t have that. Mahomes is very average. That is all it takes. JD3 is without Dobbins, Kamara, Diggs, Miles Sanders, Jonathon Brooks, and Roman Wilson. I don’t know how you can win without those guys. JD3 is going to need a miracle out of McLaurin, Chase, and Nico. Batman is a 23 point favorite and baring a major injury, Batman is back in the ship.

Consolation Bracket.

v.

#7 CrossFit v. #10 PeePaw

These two teams are playing for a potential extra 1st or 2nd round pick. CrossFit collapsed hard. The QB decisions at the start of the year put him in a hole. Now he is looking to bury PeePaw in a similar hole. CrossFit has Hubbard, Barkley, St. Brown, and Rachaad White. The problem is Amari Cooper hasn’t been great, Demario Douglas is in his lineup, Deebo can’t catch, and Pat Freiermuth is starting as the TE2. PeePaw had high hopes then sold high. All he has is Justin Jefferson. He will need a lot of Jefferson to get it done. PeePaw has three first rounders next year already, I don’t think he picks up a fourth. CrossFit is a 32 point favorite and I think he gets it done.

v.

#8 Pistol v. #9 Daddy Wombat

Pistol went in on some trades and still ended up out of the playoffs. That is a bad look. What would look even worse is losing as a 36 point favorite. Pistol has Kyler, Ford, Gibbs, Sutton, A.J. Brown, G-Will, Chase Brown, Jayden Reed, and Davante. D.W. had a good run. He was clearly the best of the absolutely terrible teams. D.W. has Hurts, JSN, Jeudy, and Worthy. D.W. has a lot of filler players but not enough studs. Pistol gets it done this week.

Professor Pickum is 25-19 on the year.

Pot Cakes Dynasty League Wildcard Weekend Recap

Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Wild Card Weekend Recap. Let’s check out our matchups and see who moved on.

v.

#3 JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. #6 Teach

JD3 was banged up and it only got worse. Mahomes has and ankle, Kamara has an oblique, and Mooney has a rookie QB. This is all bad for JD3. The good is that Terry is scary putting up 23. Keenan Allen had 17 and Nico added a sweet 16. JD3 had some top end production, the problem was QB play and some underproduction by a few players. Teach is in a worse spot. That spot is out of the offs. Guy is a bum. Teach saw 18 from Aaron Jones as his lead scorer. That means that his QB had less. That and Waddle had 0 points. Yikes, the Phins Trio cost him. JD3 will face last years champion after besting Teach 127.85 to 85.3.

v.

#4 Bottom Bunk v. #5 Bruce

B.B. was rumored to be a good team. Bruce will lie, cheat, and steal to win. B.B. had 41 from Baker. That had to get it done. CeeDee had 22. No way you can lose with those two scores. Well, B.B. found a way. Alexander Mattison had 1 point and McCloud had 2. Bruce’s young core put him over the top. Bruce saw 28 from Brian Thomas, 26 from James Cook, and 19 from Malik Nabers. That is a lot of points. Bruce saw 3 from Najee and a combined 8 from D.K. and Jauan Jennings. A roller coaster of production by Bruce, but it was enough. Bruce moves on 141.35 to 119.1. B.B. is came up short, yet again.

Consolation Bracket.

v.

#9 Daddy Wombat v. #12 Mush’s Mongrels

I mentioned how bad these teams were entering the weekend. I was wrong, they are worse. D.W. started Kyle Juszczyk who recorded zero points and still almost doubled up Mush. Hurts helped D.W. with 38 points. Mush was better at QB, Rodgers had 41. That made up for 66% of his points. D.W. won 111.6 to 64.65. Mush has been on the clock since the draft ended. Jeanty or McMillan?

v.

#10 PeePaw v. #11 Trashman

Trashman has been bad all season. Why stop now? PeePaw, he had hope entering the season, maybe there’s some hope left. Trashman saw 0 points from Alex Pierce, 2 from Nick Chubb, and 5 from Pacheco. PeePaw saw 17 from Jefferson, 15 from Jonnu, 14 from Mims, 11 from Jameson Williams, and 11 from league favorite Tim Patrick. PeePaw got it done 105.75 to 98.45.

Professor Pickum is 22-19 on the year.

What a week. We made it through the first week of the playoffs. There is a lot on the line this next week. Teams have a shot at the championship and the bad teams have a chance at an extra pick. Until then, I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.

Pot Cakes Dynasty League Wild Card Weekend

Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Wild Card Weekend. Four teams have byes. This is what we all have been waiting for, so let’s just get right to it.

#1 Touchdown Guy

TDG gained the #1 seed. He will have his day next week when we get to him.

#2 Batman

Batman is looking to run it back. Batman just might, we will see him next week too.

v.

#3 JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. #6 Teach

JD3 is banged up. Diggs is on IR, Sanders is on IR, Wilson is on IR, Dobbins is on IR, and Brooks is on IR. JD3 is in a bad spot. Teach is in a bad spot too. Teach has the Phins trio. He has 3 guys with injury tags. This could be a terrible matchup. Neither team is heating up. JD3 has Chase, Nico, and Kamara. Teach has Mixon, Pollard, and Aaron Jones. I don’t like either of these guys chances this weekend. JD3 is the higher seed and a 6 point dog. I think the impossible happens and both teams lose this weekend.

v.

#4 Bottom Bunk v. #5 Bruce

If you thought the #3 v. #6 matchup was bad, do I have a treat for you. B.B. used up all his luck last week. B.B. has the lowest projection of a playoff team this week. Bruce is kind of sneaky this year. He is sneaky in the sense that he goes behind everyone’s back and is a terrible person. B.B. has some heavy hitters. Bijan and Monty need to put up numbies for B.B. this week. Bruce has solid projections across the board. J.T., Najee, and James Cook. Bruce has a higher floor and ceiling as the 13 point favorite, I think B.B. gets it done.

Consolation Bracket.

#5 CrossFit

He’s got a bye, but who cares, he collapsed.

#6 Pistol

See what was said above, same thing except funnier.

v.

#9 Daddy Wombat v. #12 Mush’s Mongrels

These teams are so bad. One of them will be guaranteed an extra pick if they win. No amount of picks will help these teams. D.W. has JSN and Jeudy. Mush has Tracy and Mini Van Marv. These teams are both projected under 100 points. What a week for these guys. I think Mush gets it done. D.W. has some really bad players.

v.

#10 PeePaw v. #11 Trashman

This will actually be a good one. Both teams are just good and bad enough to make this one exciting. Trashman has Dowdle, Pacheco, Addison, and Guerendo. PeePaw has Jefferson, Jameson Williams, and Jonnu. PeePaw has the bigger name, but Trashman has a couple extra punches. This should be interesting. Trashman is a 14 point favorite. I think Trashman gets it done and PeePaw’s bad season gets worse.

Professor Pickum is 22-19 on the year.

Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 14 Recap

Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 14 Recap. The regular season is over. This year was pretty boring. No one really fell apart. We will look at the matchups and Professor Pickum.

Game of the week.

v.

Pistol v. CrossFit

Pistol’s playoff hopes were ruined last week. Pistol wanted to play a little spoiler this week. CrossFit was hoping for a win. Pistol saw 35 from Charbonnet and 21 from Davante and Chase Brown. CrossFit saw 24 from Rashaad White. CrossFit needed monster performance from his guys. CrossFit didn’t have the juice. Pistol spoiled CrossFit’s season. Both of these teams are colossal failures. Both made trades, both came up short. Not good. Pistol 149.61 to 140.75.

v.

Teach v. Touchdown Guy

Teach limped into the playoffs. TDG erupted into the offs. Teach had 75 from the Phins trio. TDG didn’t care. Justin Watson scored 0 points. TDG is the first player in PCDL history to have a starter with 0 points and have a team score of 200+. Josh Allen put up 64 and Puka had 36. TDG wins 201.5 to 152.45. TDG has the #1 seed.

v.

Trashman v. Batman

Batman just needed to not fall apart. Trashman is a mess. Trashman had a solid week, but Batman is too much of a threat. Trashman had 35 from Addison and 26 from Guerendo. Batman had 50 from Sam Darnold and 23 from Kyren.

v.

Mush’s Mongrels v. PeePaw

Neither team hit 100. Tracy had 17, what a draft pick. PeePaw had 29 from Jefferson. PeePaw won 96.75 to 89.3.

v.

Daddy Wombat v. Bruce

D.W. had more than half his team score under 10 points. Bruce had 25 from Jauan Jennings. Bruce cannot rely on Jauan Jennings in the playoffs. Bruce got the win 132.45 to 103.4.

v.

Bottom Bunk v. Jonny DIII’s Joyful Demons

B.B. started George Pickens who was ruled out and Goedert who had 0. What a bad start. That is one of the worst moves in PCDL history. I mean B.B. has continually made bad moves like this all year. Somehow, B.B. is making it to the playoffs. JD3 has slowly fallen apart these last couple weeks. JD3 made it into the playoffs. Anyways, B.B. saw 19 from Bijan and won 132.09 to 127.8.

Professor Pickum is now 21-17, let’s see how he ended up..

Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 14 Preview

Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 14 Preview. We are into the last week of the year. Only one playoff spot is on the line. Professor Pickum’s reputation is on the line this week. Let’s see how everyone ends up.

Game of the week.

v.

Pistol v. CrossFit

CrossFit’s only chance to make the playoffs is to win. Pistol is out of the playoffs and completely given up on everything. CrossFit has Barkley and St. Brown. Pistol has Gibbs and Chase Brown. Now, those two don’t sound like much for Pistol, but a little magic from A.J. Brown could swing this to Pistol. I think CrossFit gets it done, despite being a 4 point dog. CrossFit wins this week because one of the teams in the next matchup is cursed.

v.

Teach v. Touchdown Guy

Teach is going up against the best team in the PCDL. Teach has a playoff spot on the line. TDG is trying to ensure the #1 seed. Teach does not have a chance this week. Teach is a 34 point dog. Mind you, these two teams are both in the playoffs as of today. I don’t see how TDG loses until September. Teach has the Dolphins Trio in Tua/Waddle/Hill. TDG has Los Angeles trio of Kupp/Nacua/McConkey. I like the TDG’s odds.

v.

Trashman v. Batman

Trashman is done. Batman is looking at the bye. Batman has Achane, Kyren, Bucky Irving, and Swift. The stable of backs gets it done and Batman has a bye week. Batman is a 33 point favorite.

v.

Mush’s Mongrels v. PeePaw

PeePaw talked sweet all year. Mush is out for revenge. Mush’s revenge will have to wait a year as there is no way he wins this one. PeePaw is an 18 point favorite and has Justin Jefferson.

v.

Daddy Wombat v. Bruce

D.W. is done. Bruce is a flukey team. Bruce, Cook, D.K., and Najee get the win this week as 41 point favorites.

v.

Bottom Bunk v. Jonny DIII’s Joyful Demons

This is actually a pretty big matchup. The winner will likely be the 3 seed. B.B. has Monty, Breece, Bijan, Lamb, London, and Pickens. JD3 has Kamara, Chase, and Mahomes. JD3 has a couple byes this week and will ultimately miss out on the bye. B.B. is a 6 point favorite, but this one will come down to Monday Night.

Professor Pickum is now 21-17, let’s see if he can get some right this week..

    • Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburg Steelers -6.5

Professor Pickum is 21-17 on the year (and has only great or bad each week).

Now for the final power rankings of the season.

No explanation needed.

Well that does it for the regular season previews. Next week we will have our playoff picture. Until then, I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.

Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 13 Recap

Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 13 Recap. More teams should have focused on their lineups this week. Happens every year. Let’s dive into our games and Professor Pickum.

Game of the week.

v.

CrossFit v. Bottom Bunk

CrossFit is hanging on by a thread. Bottom Bunk is all the way back. CrossFit lost CMC again this year. Barley had 19 though. B.B. had a big week out of Bijan who put up 23. Will Dissly had 0 points in B.B.’s flex. B.B. still got it done, 106.15 to 102.57.

v.

Batman v. Teach

Teach could have used a win to sure up a playoff spot. Batman could use a monster win to get a bye. Only one of those things would happen. Batman saw 27 from Bucky Irving and 22 from David Njoku. Let’s not forget that Kyren had 18, Achane had 17, McBride had 16, Jakobi had 13, and MVS added 11. Teach did not have that big of a week. Teach saw 25 from Bowers, 20 from Mixon, and 17 from Tyreek. All of that in a loss. Batman got the big win 173.25 to 143.55. Batman was lead dog and finds himself positioned for a bye if the playoffs were today.

v.

Touchdown Guy v. Pistol

TDG wants to ruin Pistol’s day. Pistol loves having his day ruined. TDG saw 22 from Mike Evans and 20 from Josh Jacobs. Pistol saw his hopes and dreams go down the drain with 0 points from Kyle Pitts. Pistol is OUT of the offs despite trading heavily early in the season. TDG wins 149.7 to 117.6.

v.

JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. Bruce

JD3 is starting his skid a little early. Bruce is guaranteed two more weeks. JD3 had 24 from McLaurin. Bruce had 22 from Najee. JD3 had too many guys with under 7 points and Bruce had none. Bruce gets a big win 159.35 to 133.5. JD3 falls out of the bye picture.

v.

Daddy Wombat v. Mush’s Mongrels

Mush wins 110.67 to 102.2.

v.

PeePaw v. Trashman

Trashman wins 117.7 to 98.95.

Professor Pickum was 20-15, let’s see how he ended up.

  • Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions Under 49
    • BANG!
  • New York Giants +3.5 @ Dallas Cowboys
    • Nope.
  • Pittsburg Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals Under 48
    • Nope.

Professor Pickum is 21-17 on the year.

What a week. I hope you all got to eat like Batman did this week. Until next time, I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.

Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 13 Preview

Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 13 Preview. We have turkey to worry about, so let’s just get down to it.

Game of the week.

v.

CrossFit v. Bottom Bunk

CrossFit is playing for his life right now. Bottom Bunk doesn’t have a life. It is the perfect matchup. CrossFit has CMC and Barkley. B.B. has Breece and Bijan. It is a spicy matchup in which B.B. is a 6 point favorite. I’ll take 6 buttered rolls tomorrow and CrossFit.

v.

Batman v. Teach

Batman is trying to sneak in a bye. Teach is trying to stay in the playoff picture. Batman is led by Achane and Kyren. Teach has the one two combo of Mixon and Tyreek. Batman is a 3 point favorite like there are three pies in the fridge with my name on them. Give me Batman this week.

v.

Touchdown Guy v. Pistol

A Pistol loss or Teach win eliminates Pistol from the playoffs. TDG needs a JD3 loss to move into the #1 spot. TDG has Henry and Higgins. Pistol has Gibbs and St. Brown. TDG is an 18 point favorite, which is too much for Pistol. TDG gets the win this week.

v.

JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. Bruce

JD3 just needs to keep winning to get the bye and #1 seed. There is a world where Bruce loses out and misses the playoffs. JD3 has Chase and Kamara. Bruce has JT and James Cook. JD3 is a 10 point favorite. I’d watch Bruce for a late sub to tank, think JD3 pulls it off.

v.

Daddy Wombat v. Mush’s Mongrels

D.W. has 3 managers and only 5 wins. Mush has 90 some points to hit 1,000 on the regular season. I expect D.W. to have 2 wins per manager and Mush to only need 30 points next week to hit 1,000. D.W. gets it done in this horror story.

v.

PeePaw v. Trashman

Trashman is a 0.08 point favorite. That is the only thing worth mentioning in this matchup. PeePaw will get the win here.

Professor Pickum is now 20-15 and hopefully he can cook up some picks this week..

Week 13 Study Guide

  • Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions Under 49
  • New York Giants +3.5 @ Dallas Cowboys
  • Pittsburg Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals Under 48

Professor Pickum is 20-15 on the year.

No changes to the power rankings. Everything is the same. This season lacked the excitement that it once had.

Well that does it. Enjoy the big day, the weekend, the matchups, and until next time I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
