Good morning everyone, I hope this finds you well. We are going to peak into the Week 3 Preview for the Pot Cakes Dynasty League. I’m playing “Same Drugs” because my team is not what I thought it was at the beginning of the season, but I’ve moved on and made some moves to make the old me jealous. We will look at previews, and see if Dr. Tilt can get back to perfection? Again please check your local, county, state, country, gaming, and other laws to see if gambling is allowed and available near you.
Our (unsponsored, wink wink) game of the Week.
The game of the Week is Pistol has his crosshairs on Mush’s Mongrels.

vs.

Am I putting Mush in a spotlight game to see if he fails? Not important. Pistol pulled off a doozy of a win last week, barely hanging on. Mush needs Josh Jacobs to capitalize on all his touches. If you have that many touches, 30 or so, you have to find six, and Mush needs his top dog to lead the way. Thursday night James Robinson runs into the buzz saw that is the Miami Dolphins, is Robinson a legit RB1/2? We will find out. Hollywood needs a bounce back, and we all will be watching as the Chiefs take on the Ravens. (the actual game of the week) Sneakily, I like Preston Williams on Thursday as well, Mush is going to put up some points early, and will let Pistol know where he needs to shoot straight. Pistol is loading up his roster with Murray, Montgomery, Hunt, OBJ, and Kelce. Can the Browns continue their little hot streak on offense? Pistol hopes so, Pistol also is hoping Russell Gage continues to shoot his shot on the Falcons offense. Let’s not forget, Pistol pulled the trigger on the waiver dropping just over 25%, $52, of his free agent money on Mikey D, Mike Davis injected into his starting lineup. Pistol is an 11 point favorite, I’ll take Pistol in this one.
We have PeePaw strolling to Batman

vs.

PeePaw and hard candy, they both suck. The young WR core is not over performing, he doesn’t have a guy that can push him over the top. They can’t even get him across the crosswalk. Derrick Henry needs to find the end zone and Devin Singletary needs to do more. It’s simple to find the issues, but it’s tough to see how it gets done. Batman is feeling hot hot hot. He has a new player, he added James Conner to his roster. Conner and Sanders are good compliments to his running game. Lamar is going to have a great weekend. Bob Woods and Noah Fant, I like those odds. Fant without Sutton is going to have big numbers the rest of the way. With Batman giving up some draft picks to add some gadgets to his belt, I like Batman to win this one, this is a must win for him he’s favored by 16.
Bottom Bunk is heading to Touchdown Guy.

vs.

The last team in the most recent power rankings is looking for any offense. Bottom Bunk would have had a better weekend if he played Royce Freeman, some crystal ball he has. Watson, Cook, and Thielen need to produce for Bottom Bunk if he wants to get out of bed. I like Thielen having a sneaky turn around game, but the Titans Offense should slow the game down, coin flip for Thielen. B.B. barely scored 100 points last week. We play 11 guys. That’s bad, like real bad. B.B. is another low score game or two from the lights being turned out on his season. Touchdown Guy is the early on favorite. Josh Allen is so tall. Melvin Gordon is commanding the Broncos backfield and will get more work as Drew Lock and Courtland Sutton are both out. What a good trade for TDG, he needs this good RB to keep him in the playoff hunt. Julio and Ridley will combine for a great score. Oh, and don’t forget about Hayden Hurst. TDG does not need the Falcons to win, he just needs them to score, and they love to score. TDG is the favorite by 6, but no one agrees with that not even B.B., TDG for the win this week.
Teach is dipping his toes in Bruce territory.

vs.

This is a big game, Teach can separate himself and Bruce needs a win. Teach has been relying on his favorite student, Chris Carson. Tyreek Hill and D.J. Moore seem to be catching on and doing their homework. Teach needs A.J. Green to ask for some extra credit and see if he can just get to some of the balls he’s thrown. Bruce is desperate. He has the top RB left, Zeke is healthy, he needs to show it. Is this maybe karma for Bruce’s draft day move? Do not know but it would be a real shame if that haunts him all year. Jonathon Taylor is the RB1 and is going to get things going. Chark needs to get healthy and can Jules stay healthy? Will Jules be the sneaky WR vet that takes over? Are the Patriots an air raid offense? Bruce needs it. Teach is the 1-2 point dog but I think he’s an A+, I’ll take Teach.
Trashman is heading on over to Daddy Wombat.

vs.

We saw this on Sunday night. I saw it in my nightmares. Trashman has Cam, and Daddy Wombat has Russ Wil. Trashman has the ground game of Aaron Jones and Chubb, Daddy Wombat has Gurley and Kamara. Wideouts for Trashman are A-Rob and Jarvis. Daddy Wombat has D.K. and D-Hop. I love this matchup. So many big names. If I didn’t want someone to lose in the big game, I mean if those other two teams weren’t deserving, this would be the game of the week. Trashman is counting on Mark Andrews and Evan Engram to give him the leg up, but Daddy Wombat is hoping Fuller and Higbee find the end zone for their teams. Daddy Wombat is a 1 point dog, but I like Daddy Wombat here (I’m not bitter).
Lastly, we have CrossFit looking to out bench JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons.

vs.

CrossFit suffered two BIG injuries, Mostert and CMC. Can he bounce back? Well he takes on an 0-2 team. Dak, Ekeler, and Amari Cooper Kupp, all will need to give CrossFit his baseline of points. Expect good games out of Tyler Lockett and Zach Ertz should have good games. JonnyDIII is in full rebuild. Trading James Conner to Batman for a first and a third round pick. JonnyDIII needing to rebuild. Kenyan Drake, Terry McLaurin, Mike Evans, and his favorite player Corey Davis need to get it going for the Joyful Demons. JonnyDIII has two firsts and three thirds, along with his second, fourth, and fifth. I think JonnyDIII just has to win one consolation playoff game to get a freebie 13th pick of the fifth round, depending on when the win comes the better the pick odds. But if we look at some of the Joyful Demons, Mooney, Hamler, and newly acquired Drew Sample all are good young players. Najee Harris, Travis Etienne, or Chuba Hubbard will be a Joyful Demon next year. CrossFit is favored by 16 and it’s tough to argue.
Now we have some picks.

Some words from Dr. Tilt.
Week 2 Recap
Although Dr. Tilt didn’t stay perfect on the season it’s another winning week of prescriptions as Dr. Tilt went 3-1. The Packers crushed the Lions and easily covered the -5.5. The Cowboys and Falcons scored a billion points easily hitting the over of 51.5. The 49ers have more injuries than debatably any NFL team and lost starters on both sides of the ball but had no issues covering -7 on the road against the Jets. The one loss was the Chiefs -8.5 at the Chargers. Dr. Tilt would like an asterisk however as that bet even called out playing against Tyrod last week but ended up getting a frisky Justin Herbert due to a game-time scratch for Tyrod.
Dr. Tilt’s Week 3 Prescription
Los Angeles Rams +2 @ Buffalo Bills
Josh Allen is red-hot. Week 1 posted his first 300 yard passing game and followed it up with his first 400 yard passing game. The caveat? The Buffalo Bills beat the Jets and Miami Dolphins. This pick is as simple as the Doc just thinks the Rams are the better team and flying a bit under the radar early in the season. They play in the NFC West and quite frankly Russel Wilson, 49ers Injuries, Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins (WHAT ARE YOU DOING BILL O’BRIEN!) are just better story lines thus far. Sean McVay “boy genius” is old news to the media. Dr. Tilt likes the Rams outright on the road.
Dallas Cowboys @ Seattle Seahawks Over 55.5
Dak Prescott and Russel Wilson are both in the top 5 for passing yards through two weeks. Russel Wilson leads the NFL with 9 passing touchdowns. Dak leads NFL QB’s with 3 rushing touchdowns. Ezekiel Elliot is third in rushing yards. Both the Seahawks and Cowboys are both top 10 in points scored and yards gained. Starting to see the trend here? Expect a shootout with both teams in the 30’s.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens Over 53.5
What a Monday Night Football matchup! It’s hard to find any power rankings that don’t have these two teams at the top. These two played last year in September and combined for 61 points. Dr. Tilt expects a lot of the same as these teams have another year of continuity together on offense. We’re seeing early in the season defenses have suffered the most from a lack of camp and preseason, hammer the over.
Last Week: 3-1
Season Record: 6-1
Waiver moves, Pistol grabbed Mike Davis for $52, Tre’Quan Smith for $25. Batman scooped Dion Lewis for $13. JonnyDIII added some great depth, Drew Sample $6 and Andy Isabella $4.
That does it for this week’s preview. I’ll see you on Tuesday next week with our Week 3 Recap. I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow. And football is still back baby.
Let’s Go!
