Good morning everyone, we have Week 3 of the Pot Cakes Dynasty League. We have a few teams that remained unbeaten, we also have a few friends yet to win a game. Eight wins should get you to the playoffs and some teams are a quarter of the way there. After this week, we are half way there to when the bye weeks kick in. Winning now is crucial to avoid potential bad matchups due to the bye. These early games count. Let’s dive right in to our Week 3 (unsponsored) game of the Week.
PeePaw v. Touchdown Guy

v.

Here me out. I get it. PeePaw is 0-2, Touchdown Guy is 2-0. But the app says this is going to be a close, high scoring game. PeePaw NEEDS, Cook and Monty to take over. Cook is going up against the Seahawks, and hopefully the minor injury he sustained last week doesn’t hinder him at all. Monty is going up against the tough Cleveland Browns. I do think this is good for Monty as he should see a lot of passing work. A.J. Brown was bad, he has to bounce back right? Lamb goes up against division rival, Adams is going up against a playoff potential matchup, and Jefferson joins Cook with Seattle. Now if Aiyuk is looking to finally put up some points, this is his week. The Packers secondary have given up a lot of points, Aiyuk gets his chance. PeePaw needs his last WR to do well, and he needs a QB to put up 30 to be in this matchup. TDG has Josh Allen, Derrick Henry, Saquon, Thielen, Mike Evans, Julio, and Melvin Gordon. These are all big names. Only Evans has the negative matchup. So the odds are against PeePaw and for TDG. TDG sees that PeePaw is 0-2, and while TDG beat PeePaw in the championship, what a funeral it would be to have PeePaw start out 0-3 in the game of the week. TDG had D-Henry back to form last week, can he at least get double digits from Saquon? That will be the big question. TDG is a 2 point favorite, and I think all his old players still have one last ride in them.
JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. CrossFit

v.

The battle of the unbeaten. The problem is that CrossFit is a juggernaut, especially without the bye weeks. JD3 has Mahomes, and Mahomes needs to win the matchup over CrossFit and Dak. Now, the RB matchup is very one sided. JD3 has Sanders and Singletary. CrossFit has CMC and Ekeler. JD3 needs at least Miles to match Ekeler. A Touchdown for Singletary would be huge. WRs, this is where it gets tight. JD3 has Keenan Allen, Diggs, and McLaurin. CrossFit is looking at Lockett and Amari Cooper Kupp. While CrossFit has seen big breakout weeks for his trio, it is important that JD3 big three have a solid week and CrossFit’s guys don’t have breakout weeks again. Now the rest of the group. JD3 has Cooks, Pittman, and Chase. CrossFit has Robbie Anderson, Cole Beasley, and Mike Davis. This is a matchup JD3 has to win, and it’s doable. Robbie Anderson is a target monster, but the targets go to CMC. Cooks is still a monster despite the bad Texans. Last, JD3 has Logan Thomas and CrossFit has Kelce. JD3 needs a big Tyreek Hill week. CrossFit is a 29 point favorite, I will not pick this one but please, I need this.
Bottom Bunk v. Daddy Wombat

v.

B.B. is bad again. He has Edmonds, Hendy, Corey Davis, Ridley, and Sterling Shepard. That is it. Daddy Wombat has Russ, Kamara, Rondale Moore, D-Hop, and Metcalf. If you look at the depth of each team, D.W. has the advantage. Which is tough for D.W., as they have no depth. Kamara should outscore both of B.B.’s backs. Hendy is questionable, so he may not be available when the week starts. While Ridley had some success, Corey Davis faces a tough Denver defense. And Zach Wilson is a rookie. He showed that last week. Metcalf is due for a breakout, why not this week. D.W. is a 15 point favorite in a low scoring game, D.W. by a landslide.
Teach v. Pistol

v.

Teach is looking to get back on track after a tough Week 2 matchup. Aaron Rodgers came to play, Mixon was ok, Carson, ok. Tyreek Hill, quiet, and Hockenson was great. D.J. Moore is also having a coming out party. Teach needs this for the yearlong success. Pistol won last week, which is not good for his draft hopes. But good things, Kyler Murray, Courtland Sutton, and Kyle Pitts. Even Michael Carter had some work last week. Now all that is great, but starting two tight ends is never great. I think the fire power of Teach is too great for Pistol. Teach is a 22 point favorite, Teach takes it.
Batman v. Mush’s Mongrels

v.

Batman is in a good one this week, 0-2 looking to take down the 1-1 Mush. Lamar is back, at least on the ground. Gaskin has a favorable matchup. Swift needs to start and takeover the backfield. Robert Woods has to get some of Cooper Kupp’s targets at some point. DeVonta Smith is going up against a division rival and will have his first taste of the NFC East. Waller, against the Miami team that may not have any offense. That just means more Waller time. Mush has had a rough go with his RBs. Gibby faces a Buffalo defense that is lights out. Clyde has a good matchup against the Chargers but the Chiefs love to throw the ball. Is Hollywood back? Will Deebo tear up the Green Bay secondary? Will A.B. have a bounce back game? A lot of questions for Mush, will he get his answers? Batman is an 11 point favorite, I think he gets it done this week, and gets his first win of the season.
Trashman v. Bruce

v.

Trashman has an easy two weeks. Bottom Bunk, now Bruce. Trashman saw Aaron Jones take over on Monday. Chubb is incredible. Allen Robinson has had a tough two weeks. Trashman needs someone else. Kenny G needs to play well, and so does Cordarrelle Patterson. Relying on Cordarrelle is an issue. Bruce has Zeke and Najee who showed out last week, Najee was TD dependent though. Godwin had a good week, Fournette is the RB1 for Tampa, and J.T. needs a bounce back. It will be a close one. Neither team really has wowed anyone so far. Bruce is a 6 point favorite, but I’m going to ride with the Trashman for the week.
Now some predictions. If you have a Charger or Chief on your roster, they are all must starts. Chargers v. Chiefs will result in endless fantasy points. All are must plays. Mike Evans has been up and down. I expect Ramsey to be on Evans for this weekend, that is a full go for Chris Godwin and Gronk. Gronk and Fournette are the sneaky plays here as we monitor whether or not AB will be cleared after being placed on the Covid reserve list today. Fournette appears to be the #1 and receives all the check down work. Divisional games, these turn out to be boom or busts. I think the Najee Harris and Joe Mixon matchup will be down. Pittsburgh has 3 offensive TDs this year. Steelers have a great defense. I think this will be a lot of ground and pound, and the opportunities will be there, but the end zone will be tough to find for both teams. The Washington Football team faces the Buffalo Bills, Gibby and McLaurin will have down weeks. Logan Thomas will be ok though.
Now let’s look at Dr. Tilt.
Dr. Tilt Week 3 Picks
Again ***Please check your local, county, state, country, gaming, and other laws to see if gambling is allowed and available near you.

Dr. Tilt. has his prescription for the week.
Dr. Tilt was 1-2 to Week 2, 2-4 on the season.
From the desk of Dr. Tilt:
The Doc is back with his Week 3 prescription and after a rough start, this is the week we start making money, boys and girls (responsibly of course).
Ravens -7.5 @ Lions
After coming off a huge win against the Chiefs last weekend the Ravens are travelling to Detroit and looking to continue their momentum. Is there a chance for a let down game from the Ravens? Sure. But the Ravens feast on bad teams and the Doc expects them to cover with ease. Ravens win by a few touchdowns.
Bears +7.5 @ Browns
Every Bears fan in the country is excited for this one as Justin Fields gets his first start, albeit due to a Dalton injury. But this is his time to shine. Even though he looked shaky last week and threw one of the worst picks you’ll ever see, look for the Bears to keep it tight. Do we really trust the Browns yet after playing the poor defenses in Kansas City and Houston so far. Bears keep it close in Cleveland and maybe even pull out the win. Take the points.
Buccaneers @ Rams +1.5
The game of the weekend features the Super Bowl champs heading out west to LA. People forget that Tom Brady typically feasted in the playoffs in Foxborough with home field advantage at his fingertips during his time in New England. And last year during the playoffs never had to face a rowdy road environment. Even though this is only week 3, it’ll feel like a playoff game on Sunday. Look for the Rams to win this one outright in a back and forth battle that could be a NFC Championship Game preview.
Season Record: 1-2
Let’s dive into the Week 3 power rankings.

Sources informed me that Bottom Bunk scored under 100 points, AND lost to a team in a full rebuild. That puts B.B. in last. PeePaw had another let down week, that is why he drops so far. Kyler Murray, Sutton, and Gronk, that’s why Pistol moves up. Trashman had a good win, but this may be his ceiling this year. JD3, likely the odd man among the undefeated group after this week, but for now he gets to hang out near the top. CrossFit is in the driver’s seat.
Well, that does it for this week. Tomorrow we will see Texans Panthers tomorrow night to make you wanting Sunday to get here even more. Will JD3 pull off the biggest upset in PCDL History? See you on Tuesday to find out. Until then, I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Let’s Go!
