Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 6 Recap

Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 6 Recap. We had another exciting week of football. Some tight ones and some blowouts. Unfortunately, the game of the week was a blowout. We have a lot of teams bunched up just above .500 and the fight for those 3 through 6 seeds will be something. We will run through the games, recap predictions, and take a look at if Dr. Tilt stayed hot. Now, the game of the week.

Game of the Week

Teach v. CrossFit

v.

Teach took this one and ran with it. He had a great Sunday morning. Marvin Jones Jr. put up 19 and Jaylen Waddle added 25. Joe Mixon has 23. Solid week by everyone else, only losing a few of his individual matchups by a handful of points. CrossFit has a QB problem, last week Tom was hot and on his bench. This week Dak was hot an on his bench. With the RB injuries it forced CrossFit to put Mark Ingram in his lineup. Ingram had an ok week, with 9. Ekeler had a rough week with only 7 points. The Chargers were not doing well on Sunday. Cooper Kupp put up a dirty 30. Even Cole Beasley tried his best and put up 18. But overall, his team did not live up to the test. Teach wins 173.33 to 147.75. Teach was lead dog in the Game of the Week.

Mush’s Mongrels v. Daddy Wombat

v.

Mush is off to a good start. Making a trade for Darrell Henderson worked well. Hendy put up 23 points. Antonio Brown was the only other real big week with 19. The other guys, all had respectable weeks with Gibby being the one letdown only having 3 points. Daddy Wombat had big games from D-Hop with 19 and the steal of the week in Khalil Herbert putting up 18 points. With Kamara on bye Daddy Wombat had no chance. Mush wins 159.95 to 104.79.

Bruce v. Pistol

v.

Bruce has really turned it on. Thursday night he hit the jackpot with Fournette putting up 27. His other RB JT also outshined Fournette with 28 points. The WR spot was not doing much for Bruce. But with Zeke and Najee both having great weeks, 15 and 21 respectively, it didn’t matter. Pistol is rebuilding. Murray did well, James Rob had 17 and Sutton had 19. Not great, but Pistol has some young guys and will have more next year. It is a two year outlook for him. Bruce wins 164.25 to 122.55.

PeePaw v. Batman

v.

PeePaw was winless entering the week. He made some moves to help with a rebuild. Dalvin Cook was a full go, 21 points. CeeDee Lamb had a late score to really boost his week, 31. With Monty out PeePaw still has to wait a few weeks to get his team at full power. BUT was it enough? Batman has a 20 point game from Noah Fant. Hubbard put up 13 in the CMC absence. D’Andre Swift put up 15. The problem for Batman was that Gaskin only got 2, Terrance Marshall only had 1, and DeVonta Smith only had 4. With no big breaks for Batman, PeePaw gets the break. PeePaw wins his first one 136.23 to 108.35.

Bottom Bunk v. Touchdown Guy

v.

The start of the week belongs to Bottom Bunk. Thursday night Dallas Goedert stayed in his lineup, even after a reminder earlier in the week. B.B. also had a taxi violation and has a player that is being cut from his team. This roster has 0 flexibility. Christian Kirk had 16 points, McKissic had 15, and Bourne turned 0 points with like 4 minutes left, to a 14 point game. TDG needed Monday Night. Thielen had 24, Darrel Williams had 22, and TDG had Josh Allen, Derrick Henry, and Anthony Firkser to play in Monday Night. Facing a 27 point deficit all he needed was a good game from Allen, or Josh Allen plus D-Train. The combo put up 76 points. He didn’t need much, but he got all of it and then some. TDG wins 168.95 to 118.5.

JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. Trashman

v.

This one came down to the wire. JD3 was projected 180 points, had 100 at the end of Sunday. No one wanted it this week. Brandin Cooks put up 13 points. McLaurin and Pittman both had 4. Monday Night JD3 had Diggs to go, who is averaging 11 points per game. Trashman had two players with good weeks. Aaron Jones had 19 and Mark Andrews had 15. These big games put Trashman up by 5 going into Monday Night with Zack Moss to go. Diggs go JD3 19 and Moss got Trashman 4. JonnyDIII barely pulled it out in the Monday night thriller 120.35 to 110.53.

Some quick predictions recap: Chase Claypool is actually not back, James Rob did have his big week, and Carolina only held Justin Jefferson in check, Thielen and Cooks had big weeks.

Now let’s look at Dr. Tilt.
