Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 7 Preview. We are back with three consecutive weeks of rematches. The first three weeks are being replayed. This means NEW Games of the Week. We have some juicy matchups, but if you missed out on winning the game of the week in the first three weeks that’s a you problem baby. Let’s shine some light on the other managers of the league and get down with our bad selves. We look at the matchups, predictions, Dr. Tilt, and the all new Week 7 Power Rankings. Let’s dive into our Game of the Week.
Game of the Week
Bruce v. Touchdown Guy

v.

Is this a sympathy move by me to put Bruce here because I didn’t move him a ton on the power rankings? I don’t know, the power rankings are way at the bottom and you’ll forget by the time you get there. Yes, Touchdown Guy has been in a lot of the games of the week, but we have to show Bruce some love. He is on a heater. Bruce’s team is made up of strong RBs. However, two of those guys, Zeke and Najee, are on bye. Bruce will have to lean heavily on JT and Fournette. The acquisition of Devontae Booker was a long play for Bruce, we will see if Saquon is out again. Either way, Saquon is always a tough start the week back from an injury for TDG. Bruce also has Godwin, Gronk, and Rashod Bateman who saw 6 targets in his first week in the NFL. TDG does not have the Tall Josh Allen, Adam Thielen, and Mike Williams. These three have been huge. TDG has Darrel Williams for the injured Clyde, who put up the best RB performance for the Chiefs as an RB in who knows how long. James Conner is getting touchdowns or touches, depending on Chase Edmonds injury. More injured equals more touches, less injured equals fresh legs for goal line work. TDG has Bob Woods, Mike Evans, Timmy Pats, and Amon-Ra St. Brown rounding out his receiving core. Oh, did I mention Derrick Henry? TDG wins because his best player has the 14th most points in fantasy. D-Train is 10 spots and 30 points better than Cooper Kupp. TDG is likely a 9 point favorite in this matchup, I expect him to continue his hot streak in games of the week and sweep Bruce.
PeePaw v. CrossFit

v.

This was the game of the week for Week 1. It ended with a CrossFit win. Let’s look at what has changed. PeePaw is on his longest winning streak of the year. He’s made some moves. He has Tannehill, Adams, and that’s about it for his lineup. He is an early favorite for 100 point watch. The RB room has not been favorable for PeePaw. His lineup is mainly set, CrossFit has 3 people on bye still in his starting lineup, and is likely a 8 point favorite once PeePaw adds a kicker. Brady, Mike Davis, Lockett, Amari Cooper Kupp, Kelce, and new TE1 for the Cards Zach Ertz. This one won’t be as high scoring for CrossFit as week 1, but he’ll be something like a 30 point favorite, give me CrossFit in this one.
Mush’s Mongrels v. Trashman

v.

Mush pulled off Week 1 against Trashman. Mush’s only real byes are Dawson Knox and Diontae Johnson. With Mush making moves for Darrell Henderson and Corey Davis, he has no issue with depth. His guys have been clicking, and a lot of that has to do with Ruggs and Hollywood having great seasons. Mush has Jacobs, Hendy, and Gibby for backs. Deebo, Ruggs, Hollywood, AB, and Corey Davis in his receiving core. This is a complete team. It is made up on untraditional heavy hitters as most of these guys are outplaying their early season rankings. The exceptions are Josh Jacobs and Gibby, both have been dinged up all year. Trashman has a tougher bye week. Trashman loses his QB in Lawrence, RB in Moss, and a WR in Jalen Guyton. Who? Yeah, Jalen Guyton. He can replace those guys with Danny Dimes, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Kenny G or Curty Sam depending on who is healthy. At the end of the day, the depth of Mush will easily pile on Trashman. Mush is expected to be a 30 point favorite, I think he gets the sweep.
Bottom Bunk v. Pistol

v.

Pistol won this matchup in the battle for last place. Neither team has lost as many games as they should have as they rank 8th and 10th. Pistol is 8th on the app. Both teams should be considered for 100 point watch. Bottom Bunk has Teddy2Gloves, Chase Edmonds, McKissic, Shepard, either Watkins, Kendrick Bourne, and Goedert. His projections put him at 103. That’s not good. Pistol is on 100 point watch just due to his team being so young and old. He will be about a 17 point favorite. Murray will get his. The questions come up with A.J. Brown and if he is truly healthy, Sutton if he is actually a monster, and then the young guys in Michael Carter, Kadarius Toney, and Pitts. Rookies are inconsistent, so he needs average points from them to get over the 100 point mark. Pistol as the favorite and somehow sleeper in the league, shoots off another win.
Teach v. Batman

v.

Teach won week 1. This week Teach has some byes that will cause him to reach deeper into his bench. Starting Rodgers, Mixon, Murray, Tyreek, D.J. Moore, Waddle, and Hockenson, things look good. However, Batman has a good bad team. Yes, a good bad team. Lamar, Gaskin, Swift, Mitchell, and Hubbard all have starting jobs. Gaskin needs to figure it out though, well the Dolphins need to figure it out. For WRs he has Jakobi Meyers and DeVonta Smith, they are sneaky. The big difference comes in with Darren Waller who is putting up ok points, but needs to find the end zone at some point this season. Batman is the favorite, but I’m taking last weeks lead dog and this week underdog Teach.
JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. Daddy Wombat

v.

JonnyDIII won week 1. When it is all said and done with lineups JD3 should be a 25ish point favorite. Last week JD3 was also a huge favorite and needed Monday night to seal the deal. DW looks to do the same as his big hitters are Monday Night. JD3 has Mahomes, Sanders, Cooks, Chase, Mooney, McLaurin, and Pittman. The concerns are DPJ and the RB2 who is currently Kenyan Drake. Daddy Wombat gets Kamara back, he loses Claypool to the bye. The other guys are Hurts, D-Hop, Rondale Moore, and Higbee. It will be an interesting game as anything can happen Monday Night and DW has Kamara and Metcalf going at that time. No lead is safe heading into that Monday Night.
Now let’s look at Dr. Tilt.

The Doc is gonna keep Week 7 short and sweet after taking a step backwards last week. There’s a lot of good teams on bye in week 7, but here are 3 games The Doc likes this week.
Washington @ Green Bay -7.5
Panthers -3 @ Giants
Eagles @ Raiders -3
Last Week 1-3; Overall Record 7-12
Now for the Week 7 Power Rankings.

I cannot justify moving a team off last place when they failed to hit 100 points, then barely get over the hump, and now are projected to just reach 100 points.
Well that does it for this week. We have a good chance for some separation between the top half and bottom half of the league as we run the first three games back. We shall find out on Tuesday, until then I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Let’s Go!
