Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 7 Recap. We made it half way through the season. It is going to be a photo finish. I think our 1 and 2 teams are set in stone. I think our 10-12 teams are set in stone as well. The separation between 3 to 9 is a game. Teams are bunched up around .500. Let’s take a look at who made it through starting with our Game of the Week.
Game of the Week
Bruce v. Touchdown Guy

v.

Bruce loves the spotlight. His WR Chris Godwin put up 21 points. Renfrow snuck into double digits as well. The RBs are Bruce’s play, Damien Harris put up two dozen, JT had a sweet 16, so did Fournette, and Devontae Booke just got a lucky 13 too. The backs showed out. Bruce needs that week in and week out because his WR core is bad. Touchdown Guy has been great all year. He put up the 4th most points this week. Mike Evans outscored Godwin with 28, D-Train had 17, Bob Woods had 12, and James Conner joined him with 12. Waiver move of the week, TDG scooped Uzomah who went off for 22 points. The consistency of Bruce’s guys got it done. Bruce wins a big matchup, 167.3 to 145.3.
PeePaw v. CrossFit

v.

Not a lot to say here. PeePaw got 16 from Adams and 12 from Agholor. CrossFit had 11 from Devonta Freeman, Ertz had 14, Kupp added 32, and Kelce added 10. I mentioned the good players. The bad players were so bad for PeePaw. Like the waiver wire was better across the board. CrossFit wins 129.75 to 77.7. This is not a typo, PeePaw only scored 77.7 points. And no, seven is not his favorite number. PeePaw rides with the Intimidator.
Mush’s Mongrels v. Trashman

v.

Mush’s young guys are showing up. Hollywood added 16, Deebo with 20, and Corey Davis added 12. Gesicki is so good with Tua, he put up 18. The RBs were good too. Jacobs and Javonte both had 14 a piece. Trashman had the play of the week in D’Ernest Johnson putting up 24 points. But that was it for the week. Cordarrelle Patterson put up 14, and so did Kalif Raymond. When Kalif Raymond is one of your studs, that’s not great. It was not a great week for Trashman. Mush wins the rematch 158.7 to 113.37.
Bottom Bunk v. Pistol

v.

This was originally projected to be the battle for last place. Turns out these teams can’t figure out how to lose. Bottom Bunk had a resurgence from Tua putting up 40. Calvin Ridley suited up and had 10, Goedert copied that amount, and Christian Kirk added 13. A lot of bad plays for B.B. that hurt him in the long run. Pistol can’t stop winning. A.J. Brown had an M.J., Kyle Pitts just missed 20 points, and Russell Gage and Robert Tonyan both decided to score and get 14 a piece. Pistol is in a rebuild but is finding himself right around that last playoff spot. Pistol wins 159.25 to 110.95.
Teach v. Batman

v.

This was a big week for Teach. A win puts him in the driver’s seat for one of those top playoff seeds. Teach had no one breakout this week. Mixon, Waddle, and D.J. Moore all combined for 34 points. That’s about it. A lot of low scoring, just missing their projection plays this week for Teach. Batman does not want to win. He wants to protect his draft position. D’Andre Swift had a monster week with 24 points. Elijah Mitchell is back with 16. Lastly, Myles Gaskin had a late receiving TD to give him 16 points. These few guys getting just a little bit more than Teach’s guys was enough. Batman wins 122.91to 117.3.
JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. Daddy Wombat

v.

This was the leagues favorite matchup. JD3 suffered two big in game injuries to big name players. Mahomes got knocked out and Miles Sanders hurt his ankle. the only saving grace for JD3 is if Sanders is out Gainwell is a full go. The WRs had a solid week. Ja’Marr Chase had 30, McLaurin added 21, and Pittman put up 18. Daddy Wombat had some big scores to put them over the edge. Khalil Herbert put up 15. D-Hop put up 14. It was Monday night that put D.W. out front. Kamara and Metcalf combined for 45.5. Daddy Wombat wins 146.1 to 125.3.

Washington @ Green Bay -7.5
BANG!
Panthers -3 @ Giants
Nope.
Eagles @ Raiders -3

Week 7 2-1; Overall Record 9-13
Well that does it for Week 7. Week 8 will continue to challenge teams as they shuffle lineups due to the byes. The waiver wire is empty and there is not a lot out there. We are half way through the regular season. The playoff picture is heating up. We will see who can hang on for the rest of the way.
Let’s Go!
