Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 12 Recap. This week was crucial for some teams to stay alive in the playoff hunt. Some teams locked in a playoff spot, while other(s) playoff hopes ended, and I mean ended bad. Let’s dive into the co-game of the weeks and look at the other matchups. We will then see if Dr. Tilt is all the way back? Here are the co-game of the weeks.
Batman v. Trashman

v.

What a game. Batman and Trashman went head to head in a matchup that had the potential to shake up the playoff picture. A win for Batman likely puts him in the playoffs if the season ended, and Trashman would drop out of the playoffs. For Batman there was not a lot to be thankful for as he lost D’Andre Swift early in the game. Double that with a poor Deonte Harris showing, he was a hurting unit leaving Thursday’s games. Trashman would not disappoint. Giving Cam Newton the nod over Carson Wentz singlehandedly cost him this matchup. In fact, starting Zack Moss (did not play) and Cam Newton over Aaron Jones (2 points) and Baker Mayfield (worst bench QB) cost Trashman. Big nights for Gaskin with 18, Mitchell with 25, and Jakobi Meyers with a dozen were enough to get Batman in the 6th spot. Batman wins 103.49 to 90.
Mush’s Mongrels v. Teach

v.

Some people have been tough on the schedule makers. If you had to look at only this game in Week 12, you would think it was perfection. An absolute barn burner that came down to the last game and had some early heartbreak mixed in. Mush is looking to give himself some room and Teach is looking to sneak in the backdoor. The playoff picture is hot. Mush watched his bench player Dawson Know put up 2 tuds on Thursday. His starter, Mike Gesicki put up one dud of a performance. The kicker put up 21 for Mush, Deebo added 20 (and is hurt), OBJ had 16, Diontae had 14, Hendy had 15, and it would all come down to Antonio Gibson needing roughly 30 points. No way he scores 20 and the Knox benching comes back to bite Mush right in the tush, right? Teach had Mixon mix it up for 30, Waddle had 24, Tee Higgins 20, Van Jefferson matched OBJ’s 16, Pollard and Hock each had 11, and D.J. Moore had 12. This all left Teach to roll in his TV to watch Monday night’s game unfold. Gibby had 20, and McKissic scored twice. This is a bummer for Mush. Teach wins a shootout, 183.71 to 175.3.
Bruce v. Bottom Bunk

v.

The season is already over for B.B. and now the season has just begun for Bruce. This win locks it in. Bruce saw 40 from Fournette, a kicker had 21, Renfrow also had 21, JT put up 17, and Zeke closed it out with 13 and an injury. B.B. had a good week in that he scored more than 100 points. This was due to J.D. McKissic robbing 2 tuds. Jamaal Williams and T.Y. Hilton combined for 20, and Kendrick Bourne matched that 20. Bruce wins 167.6 to 107.8.
Daddy Wombat v. CrossFit

v.

CrossFit did everything he could to keep D.W.’s playoff hopes alive. D.W. wanted nothing to do with it. D.W. saw 11 from James Rob and 10 from Cole Kmet. CrossFit had Ekeler with 18, Lockett with 11, Freiermuth with 12, and Kupp added 15. The QB matchup was bad as well. Hurts had 9 and Brady had 18. CrossFit continues to miss at QB. CrossFit wins 93.2 to 60.49.
Pistol v. Touchdown Guy

v.

This was perfect for both teams. Pistol wanting to miss the playoffs and Touchdown Guy wanting to lock in a playoff spot. Pistol had a combined 30 from Cobb and Gage. TDG had 20 from Thielen and 18 from Josh Jacobs. That is about it. Well, Pistol did scoop Cedric Wilson, who scored 15 points but did not start. Wilson would not have won the week for Pistol, but he might have for others that actually want to win. TDG wins 111.7 to 97.45.
PeePaw v. JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons

v.

Revenge is a dish best served cold. I don’t know if that is a saying, but JD3’s team was cold Sunday. JD3 was lead dog through half of Sunday. The problem was that PeePaw had a better tight end. Schultz went for 14 and Dan Arnold went for 1 and an injury. . PeePaw added 14 with Adams, 12 from Aiyuk, 11 a piece from Jefferson and Cook. Cook sustained an injury and will make PeePaw’s playoff push incredibly difficult. JD3 saw 17 from Diggs, 15 from Mooney, and 12 from Keenan Allen. Dominating run games from the Colts and Bengals halted any sort of game from Chase and Pittman. PeePaw, and his players, get their revenge 126.65 to 105.65.
