Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Round 2 Playoff Preview. Dr. Tilt went perfect last week and we get a bonus pick. He deserves to be mentioned first. Teams that do not deserve to be mentioned won’t, because they stink. We look at the Playoffs and Consolation Bracket, Dr. Tilt, and then we all kick back and enjoy some the present that is football.
Playoffs.
#1 Touchdown Guy v. #5 JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons

v.

This will be a good one. Week 4 JD3 had the upper hand, but TDG went on a tear the rest of the year. Injury wise, TDG has obviously lost D-Henry since then but Saquon is starting to hit his stride. Mike Evans, Thielen, and James Conner all have injuries. Evans is likely out this week, while Thielen and Conner are coming back to full health. Conner played last week but I would assume he is better this week. TDG will rely on Kittle and his RB depth. These are the two areas that TDG can destroy JD3. JD3 needs another big week out of his QB as the Tall Josh Allen puts up points no matter what. JD3 needs Miles Sanders to show up again and needs his WRs to all put up decent numbers or have two big break outs. It is neck and neck with JD3 being a 5 point favorite as of now. I cannot pick this game but I think we are in for a tight one.
#2 Bruce v. #3 CrossFit

v.

No team lost more on the bye than Bruce. Fournette and Godwin both done for the fantasy season. Bruce’s WR room is in shambles. Renfrow is coming off a bad week and faces a tough Denver defense. Bruce gets Damien Harris back, maybe, but against the Bills? Bruce needs Zeke, Najee, and JT to carry his team like they have in the past. The problem is can he rely on Tyler Boyd, Renfrow, and Bateman. These WRs need to get something going to give Bruce a shot. CrossFit cannot get the QB room right. He needs Ekeler to be healthy. Amari Cooper Kupp and Lockett can win the week for CrossFit. These three need to be that dude. Kelce also give s CrossFit a big edge. CrossFit’s biggest issue is going 3 tight ends deep, that is a recipe for disaster. CrossFit has a 10 point advantage heading into the matchup, but you can almost guarantee his QB underperforms by 10, this one will be tight.
The #4 and #6 seed appear to not have a matchup this week. I believe they will play next week for 5th place. They get to go about their lives for one week as their playoff hopes and dreams are done.
Consolation bracket.
We have picks on the line. Winners move on to the 13th and 26th pick prizes, losers fight over 39th and 52nd picks.
#7 Trashman v. #10 Pistol

v.

Trashman has the RB depth at this point in the season. Aaron Jones, Cordarrelle, Cubb, and Penny. Mix in Mark Andrews and, well, that’s the problem. A-Rob been a bust, Curty Sam been hurt, and Juice is mixed up in the covid protocols that have run through the dog pound. WRs should be eyeing up Trashman’s team as it is an easy starting destination. Hopefully, Trashman can win and get a WR that can help his team. Pistol is done. He has the 2nd and 3rd pick of the draft. If he could somehow win to get pick 26, that would be huge. Huge, huge underdog is the role he plays this week. He does have Russell Gage, Sutton, Pitts, Michael Carter, and Kyler Murray. These guys need to show up to match the floor of Chubb and Jones on the other side of the ball. Pistol is a 16 point dog, but he has some magic getting one boom player each week from a guy no one would ever start.
#8 Teach v. #9 PeePaw

v.

The good news about this matchup is that the winner likely gets pick 13. The bad news is that probably is not Teach. Teach was a big loser Week 14 when it mattered and I think he’s a big loser again. It is no fault of his own, Hock is on IR, Tyreek is covid right now, and Mixon is banged up. Teach needs a miracle from D.J. Moore, Jaylen Waddle, and A.J. Green to save his season. PeePaw is clicking on all cylinders. If healthy PeePaw is the team no one wants to face. Herb, Cook, Monty, Lamb, Jefferson, Adams, and Taxi guys Mikey T and Calvin Ridley. PeePaw can take Pick 13 and throw it out because his team is stacked. PeePaw is a 32 point favorite, I mean my goodness.
#11 and #12 seeds do not play this weekend. I am not sure if they will play in the last place game next week, draft order is already set. Either way both teams miss out on an extra pick and both teams desperately need help.
Now let’s dive into Dr. Tilt.
