Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 2 Preview. We are a week in and a top team Touchdown Guy has another matchup that will help determine the top of that division. The league is not flexing this game, so you’ll have to read a bit before you get to it. We will start off with our game of the week, the rest of the matchups, and Dr. Tilt. Let’s get right into it.
Game of the week.

v.

Batman v. Pistol
Both teams suffered a Week 1 loss, but this looks like to be a tight matchup. Batman has Lamar and Pistol has Kyler. That should be a good QB matchup. Batman lost Elijah Mitchell and should probably go with the hot rookie Jahan Dotson. DeVonta Smith has to bounce back, Olave, Juju, and Waller should round out the good receiving options. The RBs of Swift and A.J. Dillon should give Batman a good base for this matchup. Pistol wants to jockey an early first next year but all his guys do is produce. We already touched on Murray, but Pistol still has the RB1 in Michael Carter. Hines gets a lot of catches. Broadway Bob may be the Packers best receiving option going forward and if not, Pistol should get Lazard back. Sutton looked good and if he finds the endzone it will push him over the top. A.J. Brown my goodness. We have a battle for the better Eagles WR this week. It should be a tight one. As of right now this matchup is neck and neck at about 117 a piece. Give me Batman because it is what the teams want.

v.

Mush’s Mongrels v. Daddy Wombat
Another two teams coming off a loss. These teams are currently the bottom of their division, and their division is stacked. A playoff push starts this week. Mush is riding the Broncos’ backfield. Clyde looked great and is available for trade. Hollywood and Deebo both are the studs of their receiving core. Darrell Henderson is a must start until Cam Akers figures things out. Diontae Johnson needs to produce. D.W. has Hurts, Kamara, RB1 James Rob, Gabe Davis, Metcalf, Jeudy, Claypool, and Dameon Pierce. Here we have another chance for the teams to see who has the better receiver between Diontae and Claypool. We also have the RBs v. the WR for the Broncos. A lot of point swings can happen with touchdowns. D.W. needs Kamara of old to win this one. Right now its Mush as a 9 point favorite. I think Mush gets it done because the Broncos’ backs have to score.

v.

Bruce v. Bottom Bunk
We went through some good matchups, now let’s get to a blowout. Bruce loses the Kicker matchup here as Rodrigo was waived. B.B. has Justin Tucker. That is the only positive for B.B. Bruce has Burrow, Zeke, Najee (who is dinged up), Fournette (also might be dinged up), T.J., D.J. Moore, Renfrow, Bateman, and Boyd. I think Bruce’s firepower does it this week. B.B. has Edmonds, Breece Hall, Kirk, Drake London, and Sterling Shepard. Bruce will be a 30-35 point favorite, and it might end more than that.

v.

Trashman v. PeePaw
We have two undefeated teams. Trashman is looking to make a push here. T-Law, Chubb, Jarvis, and Curtis Sam all are going to do what they do. Cordarrelle Patterson does what he does and will score this week. Aaron Jones had a huge let down and has to be more involved this week. The same goes for Cam Akers and A-Rob. Mark Andrews also due for a big week. PeePaw has Herbert, Dalvin, Monty, Jeff Wilson Jr., Davante Adams, CeeDee, Aiyuk, Justin Jefferson, and Mikey T. I mean my goodness. Great floor with the RBs and the WRs are so stacked. PeePaw has the guys that can go off. PeePaw is a 34 point favorite, I think PeePaw keeps his hot streak and might be lead dog this week.

v.

CrossFit v. Teach
We have another undefeated matchup. CrossFit is forced into TB12. CrossFit has a 3-headed monster in CMC, Ekeler, and Barkley. There is no way that both CMC and Ekeler have another quiet week. Lockett, Duvernay, St. Brown, Robbie A, and Kelce round out the receiving core. Poor Amari Cooper rides the bench because no one can throw him the ball. Teach needs points this week. Rodgers was a dud, Rhamondre Stevenson was a dud, and Tee Higgins might be out. He has to rely on Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Joe Mixon. Mixon needs a huge week and after seeing Fournette tear up the Cowboys defense it is well within the cards. I don’t think that will be enough as CrossFit is a 20 point favorite and my pick this week.

v.

Touchdown Guy v. JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons
This is a huge matchup. A win here puts TDG in 2nd place in the division, if JD3 pulls one out he should remain at the top. TDG has the Tall Josh Allen taking on JD3’s Patrick Mahomes. TDG is doubling down with Mike Evans and Julio Jones. Throw in vets like Cooper Kupp and Adam Thielen and his WRs look A-1. If Kittle is back the odds favor TDG tremendously. TDG had solid performances out of Henry, Conner, Jacobs, and Gibby, but there is plenty of room for improvement in production there. TDG is going to be tough to beat. JD3 is likely without Keenan Allen, former TDG but traded for Mike Evans, who has a quick Thursday night turnaround. JD3 has WRs to match with Chase, Cooks, Diggs, McLaurin, and Pittman. JD3 needs all the Keenan Allen work to add to Gerald Everett to compete. The backs of Hunt, Sanders, and Etienne need production. Etienne has to take a step forward this week and cannot leave points on the field like last week. As of right now TDG is a 15 point favorite, but we will have to see how things play out.

Dr. Tilt’s Record (0-3)
Not much from Dr. Tilt here, but its not every week a Dr. has to tend to his own wounds.
That does it for this week. Should be another intense weekend of fantasy matchups. Which teams will remain perfect, which teams will find themselves in an early hole? Until next time I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow. I will see you Tuesday with the recap.
Let’s Go!
