Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 4 Preview

Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 4 Preview. We have a special spotlight game for our 1 undefeated team and a team that thinks they are better than they are. We look at other matchups and even take a peek at Dr. Tilt who is hoping to sneak above .500. Let’s get it, and please, let’s all pray for points.

Game of the week.

v.

Teach v. Batman

Teach is the sole unbeaten team and he is relying on players that are yet to see a loss. Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill are two of the best WRs in fantasy football. Teach also has the best rookie WR in Romeo Doubs. If he has another 8 catch week from Aaron Rodgers, Bezos ain’t got a rocket ship that can reach this man. He a bad man. Anyone saying they thought this would happen, I encourage you to say back “Cap-u-let him fall to the late second round, you didn’t want him.” The Capulets were Juliet’s family, and they did not want Romeo. I had to explain that for Bottom Bunk. Teach has a few questions at RB with Mixon being injured and Stevenson’s inconsistency. But that is not nearly as big of a question as whatever is going on with Batman. D’Andre Swift is injured and “what’s done can’t be undone.”  “No legacy is so rich as honesty” and honestly Batman’s backs are not looking good. He has A.J. Dillon and Eno Benjamin. Batman is coming off a hot week with Devonta Smith, “thou she be but little, she is fierce.”  The difference maker for Batman has been Lamar Jackson “all that glisters is not gold” unless it is Lamar because he has been a rock star so far in fantasy. Teach is about an 19 point favorite “uneasy lies the head that wears the crown”, I think Teach remains uneasy another week.

v.

PeePaw v. Mush’s Mongrel’s

Mush is playing PeePaw who just suffered injuries to Cook and Monty. I will not hold my tongue. Mush is a naughty boy who deserves to be punished. I hope PeePaw does just that. PeePaw still has Jeff Wil, Ceedee, Davante, Mikey T, and hopefully Justin Jefferson shows up. Mush has Javonte, Clyde, J.K., Mike Will, Hollywood, Deebo, and Dionte. Right now PeePaw is a 15 point favorite, but I think Mush gets it done when he adjusts his lineups after kickoff.

v.

Pistol v. Bruce

These teams stink. One team knows it and is waiting for the draft. One team is oblivious and is going to fail miserably again. Pistol has Kyler, Kahlil Herb, Sutton, A.J. Brown, Garrett Wilson, and Pitts. Bruce has JT, Najee, D.J. Moore, and Fournette. Bruce is a 18point favorite but I’ll believe it when I see it, Pistol in the upset.

v.

Touchdown Guy v. Daddy Wombat

Both teams are coming off their first wins of the season. TDG was lead dog last week and is the projected lead dog this week. I don’t think we need to spend a lot of time on this one. TDG is a 17 point favorite, the only question you should be asking is why is D.W. projected so many points? TDG has Josh Allen, D. Henry, Gibby, Conner, Jacobs, Thielen, Mike Evans, Cooper Kupp, Bob Woods, and Kittle. D.W. has Hurts, Kamara, James Rob, Dameon Pierce, Gabe Davis, Metcalf, Jeudy, Claypool, and two tight ends, yuck. Give me TDG in a landslide.

v.

CrossFit v. Bottom Bunk

CrossFit is a 21 point favorite. CrossFit will be more of a favorite when he pulls Flacco from his lineup, about a 47 point favorite. CMC, Ekeler, Barkley, Amari, Lockett, St. Brown, and Kelce. B.B. has Breece, Edmonds, Kirk, London, and Kendrick Bourne? I mean let’s be real here, this one is already over. CrossFit by 50.

v.

JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. Trashman

This is for first place of the division. Here we have a couple head to heads in Hunt v. Chubb and McLaurin v. Samuel. These could really swing the game. Other pairs are Miles Sanders v. Aaron Jones. JD3 should have a slight QB advantage with Mahomes over T-Law, WR advantage with Diggs, Pittman, Allen, and Chase against A-Rob, Juice, and Richie James. RB should go to Trashman with Cordarrelle tipping the scales. Another heavy hitter is the TE position that Trashman has Mark Andrews and JD3 has the streaky Everett. This should be a good one, JD3 is a 16 point favorite at the moment.

Dr. Tilt’s Week 4 Prescription

New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers -3

Upon news of Zach Wilson making his season debut, ticket sales to suburban mothers have skyrocketed to 28% of all tickets.  Now I know what you’re thinking, betting on Mitch Trubisky is a dicey proposition but fading the New York Jets cancels that out.  This is a bet on the institution.  Mike Tomlin is 43-32 ATS off a loss and gets extra time to prepare.  Mothers be damned, Trubisky is the one kissin’ titties this week.

Tennessee Titans +3.5 @ Indianapolis Colts

The Colts and Titans both got a much-needed win in week 2.  The winner of this AFC South matchup in week 4 likely is the betting favorite in the clubhouse for the division.  If you look under the hood however, the Colts were gifted 4 special teams miscues from the Chiefs.  The doc likes the hook here in a divisional matchup in what should be a low scoring affair.  Fade the public perception that is “Colts beat the Chiefs and have righted the ship”.

Buffalo Bills @ Baltimore Ravens o51.5

Only two teams have scored more points than the Buffalo Bills.  The Detroit Lions and the Baltimore Ravens. 51.5 is the highest o/u on the card this week but due to the unders being a historic 30-18 to start the season, this number is suppressed.  The Ravens and Bills through 3 weeks are combining for 64 points per game and the conversation all week has been around Lamar’s decision to bet on himself with his contract.  Don’t expect him to slow down now and expect the Bills offense to bounce back after a rough scoring day in the Miami heat.  It’s a shame this game is hidden in the early slate of games but don’t worry, it’ll be living on the red zone channel the entirety of the early afternoon.  The doc expects a track meet.

Dr. Tilt Last Week: 2-1 Season: 4-5

That does it for this week. Hope we have a fun week of some football. We are getting more football weather. I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.

Let’s Go!
