Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 6 Preview. The game of the week, matchups, and new Power Rankings. We got a pretty tight race across the board.
Game of the week.

v.

JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. CrossFit
Fresh off of the biggest week in PCDL history it is only right that we put CrossFit in the primetime game. Can JD3 take down Goliath? JD3 has to win the QB matchup of Mahomes over Brady. JD3 needs Diggs and Chase to win the week. CrossFit is going with Amari Cooper and Tyler Lockett. If you mix in the rest of the WRs, JD3 has McLaurin, Pittman, and maybe Keenan Allen. CrossFit has Duvernay and Zach Ertz. The RB matchup is where things favor CrossFit. CrossFit has CMC, Ekeler, Barkley, and Mostert. JD3 is going with Sanders, Hunt, and Etienne. CrossFit has Travis Kelce too, JD3 has big Ev. CrossFit is a 21 point favorite, it is tough for anyone to beat CrossFit right now, we just have to see how many points CrossFit scores.

v.

Mush’s Mongrel v. Pistol
Mush is going with Clyde Frog, Dobbins, and Mel Gordon. Hollywood is going to enjoy his last week as the clear WR1 for the Cardinals. We will see if Pistol’s QB Kyler Murray throws him the ball. Mush has Diontae, Deebo, and Taysom Hill. Mush’s kicker is on bye and is where he’s got a lot of points. Pistol has the new RB1 for Seattle in Kenneth Walker. Pistol is hoping that Sutton continues to do well. Pistol has Lazard and A.J. Brown. Pistol is also rocking Garrett Wilson, Pitts, and Tonyan. Pistol traded Kenneth Walker for Javonte Williams. These two managers did a little swapsies right before their matchup. Pistol was sick of winning, he now is in a pretty good spot to be the #1 pick. Javonte is the “better” back if fully healthy, so this should be a good trade for Pistol. Mush on the other hand is going in for this season. Mush is currently in the six spot and by looking at the landscape of the league, he’s got a real good shot at being the 5 or 6 seed. We will see how it all pans out for these two, tune into next years blog to see how this shakes out for Pistol. Pistol was a 4 point favorite, now he is a 14 point dog. I’m still going with Pistol for the laughs.

v.

Daddy Wombat v. Teach
Daddy Wombat takes on the unbeaten Teach. How long until Teach’s luck runs out. D.W. is without Dameon Pierce this week. This will likely force their hand to play Rondale Moore. Kamara is hot off of a big week. James Robinson might be losing his job (hopefully), Metcalf, Jeudy, Gabe Davis, oh my. The biggest bust for D.W. is Chase Claypool, what is that guy doing? Teach has Mixon, Rhamondre Stevenson, Tyreek, Waddle, and Romeo Doubs. Right now, D.W. is a 1 point favorite. This could be the upset of the century, I like these odds, give me D.W.

v.

PeePaw v. Batman
We have an elite QB matchup here, PeePaw has Herbert and Batman has Lamar. The RB and WR matchup heavily favors PeePaw. Cook, Monty, Jeff Will, Lamb, Jefferson, Mikey T, and McKenzie. Batman has DeVonta Smith and Jakobi Meyers. There is not a lot of hope for Batman in this one. I am just calling it like I see it. PeePaw is a 21 point favorite and I think he gets it done.

v.

Trashman v. Bruce
Trashman has Aaron Jones, Nick Chubb, Curtis Samuel, and Mark Andrews. That’s about it. Bruce has Fournette, Jonathan Taylor, and Godwin. Bruce also has guys that get a lot of touches that don’t produce in Zeke, Najee, and D.J. Moore. Those few extra guys will give him the bump and is why he is a 12 point favorite.

v.

Touchdown Guy v. Bottom Bunk
Touchdown Guy has a lot of people on bye, but the good news is that he is going up against the worst manager in the PCDL. TDG has the tall Josh Allen, the Commanders backfield, James Conner, Mike Evans, Cooper Kupp, Thielen, and Kittle. B.B. is without a QB possibly, or maybe Tua is back, or maybe Teddy is back. B.B. has Breece, Drake London, and Pickens. B.B. has two open roster spots. I do not know what he is doing other than losing this weeks matchup. TDG is going to be like 37 point favorite.

Dr. Tilt’s Week 6 Prescription
Washington Commanders (+1) @ Chicago Bears
Only a sicko would watch this TNF game. Well, let’s make it even more gross and bet on it. After all, it’s to save a man’s job considering Ron Rivera is likely fired if they lose this game, right? Kitchen sink game for the C-Words and Rivera throwing Wentz under the bus earlier this week has almost 70% of the money on the Chicago Bears. First year head coaches are 11-21 ATS on short weeks over the last few seasons.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-8) @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Dr. Tilt has given a handful of pro Steelers bets so far this season (probably explains some of the season record). Those bets were made on the institution. Well the institution might be dead. Now we have Cam Heyward “butt re-tweeting” coach and player slander, Jersey Jerry is a mess, just go read the comments of the Steelers Instagram post for TJ Watt’s birthday to understand the mental headspace this town is in right now. It’s likely to get uglier before it gets better with Tampa Bay’s defense coming to town. Expect the “Boo Birds” out quickly in this one.
Baltimore Ravens (-5.5) @ New York Giants
Yeah yeah, the doc gave you the Packers against the Giants last week and was wrong but also kind of right? That line didn’t make any sense. Nice win for the Giants but we’re getting a little too big for our britches with the contender talk for the Giants this week. Nice start, but coming straight off of a big win in London to chase Lamar Jackson around? Good luck.
Last week: 1-2
Season: 6-9 (nice)
And now for an all-new power rankings.

We have a lot of movement on the power rankings. CrossFit with the most points in league history is worthy of the top spot, but this means that other guys have to move down. Teach is undefeated and TDG is still the most points for. Those are the clear cut top guys. PeePaw moves up as he’s also in the mix. Batman was bad so he is at the bottom, Bottom Bunk is also bad. We had 4 teams under 100 points, I mean yikes. This is where we sit heading into Week 6.
Well that does it for now, I will see everyone tomorrow with the Recap. It is exciting time. We have 10 teams hovering around .500. Until then I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Let’s Go!
