Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 6 Recap. We’ve entered the bye week and it showed this week. We have some more low scoring teams. We will run through the game of the week, matchups, and see how Dr. Tilt ended up.
Game of the week.

v.

JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. CrossFit
JD3 was up against it and needed his playmakers to show up. JD3 has a deadly group of WRs. Chase put up 29, Diggs, had 26, and Pittman had 20. That’s a good group of points. JD3 also found help across the board at RB. Sanders had 14, Sing had 13, and Etienne had 12. Needed in this big week was a solid performance from the QB position, and Mahomes did enough with 30, despite 2 picks. CrossFit was coming off his best week, the league’s best performance, and just needed a win to help put him in a good spot going forward. CMC had 19, Barkley had 17, Amari Cooper added 12, Kelce added 15, and Ertz had 15. We headed into Monday night with JD3 having a 30 some point lead with Big Ev versus Austin Ekeler. Ekeler is coming off of two 30 point games. This is not out of reach yet, and I just know JD3 was screaming at his TV for people to tackle Ekeler. JD3 hears voices in his head they talk to him they understand, they talk to him. And the voices worked out. Big Ev didn’t do much but more importantly Ekeler “only” put up 19. JD3 wins a big game and replaces CrossFit as the lead dog this week 160.4 to 138.45.

Mush’s Mongrel v. Pistol
Mush is cursed. Maybe it’s because there is no trophy for the league yet. Maybe it’s because of his moral compass. Maybe he just straight up stinks. Either way, it’s not good for Mush. Geno stream start for big Faab Dollars put up 17. Ken Walker had 18, D-Hendy had 12, and Deebo added 13. Taysom did nothing with 5 and Gesicki went off on the bench for 22, oh and Dawson Knox had 11. Knox coming off an injury would not have been started no matter what anyone says. Benching Gesicki cost Mush the game by a half a point. The curse for Mush was that Hollywood Brown will miss significant time with a lower leg injury. Mush needs Hollywood, but the stars don’t live like the rest of us. Pistol traded one of his best young players for Javonte Williams to strategically lose some games for his top end pick. He forgot to tell his team that. Deon Jackson put up 23 for the Colts in the absence of JT. Lazard had 16 and A.J. Brown put up 15. Kyle Pitts got his first TD with 9 and the other TE, Broadway Bob, put up 14. We went into Monday night with Pistol hanging onto a 20 some point lead. Mush had Mike Wil and Pistol had Sutton. Neither did nothing much, Pistol hangs on 117.2 to 100.65.

v.

Daddy Wombat v. Teach
D.W. needed a win bad. D.W. got another nice week from Kamara with 15, Claypool made a splash with 20, Gabe Davis put up 15, but the rest of the guys did very little. Metcalf had 4 points, and Higbee and Trautman combined for 2 points. Not a great week, but D.W. gets D-Hop back this next week. He could be a good piece moving forward, forward as in trading for picks or young guys. Teach did something that I don’t know if we have seen. The app we use grades the manager based on their optimum score. Teach graded out perfect this week. Tyreek lead the way with 24, Rhamondre followed up with 23, Mixon had 15, Waddle had 14, and Pierce added 12. Pretty solid week across the board. In order to put up a perfect coaching grade, that just means your bench can’t do much, they didn’t. With the bye weeks upon us, that may lead to some issues down the road. Teach pulls one out 138.6 to 103.75.

v.

PeePaw v. Batman
We will run through this one quick. PeePaw had 24 from Aiyuk, Cook put up 15, Justin Jefferson added 14, and Lamb had 10. Batman has a guy every week get hurt as soon as the opening kick happens. Not that it would have mattered, but she was still a tight game. Juju and MVS combined for 20 points. DeVonta Smith had 13. Joshua Kelley was the injured player that put up nothing. Batman is in trouble, he has no Robin, no Alfred, no Catwoman, no bankroll, no nothing. PeePaw wins a snoozer 106.44 to 98.2.

v.

Trashman v. Bruce
Over the weekend the group chat mentioned certain players on certain teams that were ruled out. One manager already made arrangements to take their guy out, and that line of thinking is probably why one manager has been successful in this league and others have had a more difficult time. Trashman started Cam Akers and Christian Watson. Both were ruled out way in advance. Mark Andrews had 20 and A-Rob had 15. Bruce got lucky there, but still put up a great week and would have beat a lot of teams. I guess when you save your points from the two weeks prior you are due. Joey B put up 44, Fournette had 19, Zeke had 15, Hunter Henry had 14, Godwin with 13, Najee added 12, and even Tyler Boyd put up 10. Bruce wins this on 149.2 to 93.15.

v.

Touchdown Guy v. Bottom Bunk
TDG probably had his toughest week with the byes and injuries. Thank goodness it was against Bottom Bunk. Josh Allen is very tall and added 28. Theilen showed up for 14, Kupp put up 13, and Kittle added 12. B.B. had Breece with 19 and Skowronek from the Rams with 14. B.B. has to be the worst team across all dynasty leagues and teams. TDG wins this one 118.15 to 89.7.
