Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 7 Recap. What a weekend. We had a lot of upsets. This keeps the league honest. We will see how the league responds to the injuries sustained this weekend, but we have to get through this week first. Let’s look at our electric game of the week, matchups, and check in on Dr. Tilt.
Game of the week.

v.

Bottom Bunk v. Trashman
Much like the prime-time NFL games, this one either had a lot of defense or not a lot of offense. Our league does not have defense, so there was no offense. B.B. lost Breece Hall, but not before he put up 13 points. B.B. started Mercole Hardman because he has no one, Hardman had 26. George Pickens picked up 15 points for the B.B. The bad. B.B. once traded Michael Pittman Jr. for J.D. McKissic, McKissic had 0.4 points. Chase Edmonds was a trade target for B.B., he gave up a second rounder, for 1.7 points. B.B. used his 4th pick on Drake London who had 1.4 points. B.B. picked up Jalen Tolbert with pick 18 for a scratch start. Things do not look good for B.B. losing Breece all but guaranties a winless remaining schedule. Trashman did not do much better. Aaron Jones had burst for 24, Tyler Allgeier had 11, Nick Chubb put up 18, Curty Sam had 10. Trashman also started Richie James for 0.9 points and Mark Andrews for 0.4 points. Trashman had a 0.13 point lead heading into Monday night and had Tyquan Thornton to go. He didn’t score negative points. Trashman picks up the win 110.34 to 107.81.

v.

Pistol v. Touchdown Guy
Pistol my oh my. Kyler had 23. No one else had double digits (ok Khalil Herbert had 17 and the editor got a little sloppy by not including this). Touchdown Guy had a big week. Josh Jacobs lead the way with 35 points, Eno Benjamin followed with 21, Kittle had 19, D-Train had 15, and Mike Evans had 14. The only hiccup was Michael Gallup putting up 0 points. Touchdown Guy ran away with this one and is heating up. TDG wins 156.05 to 89.

v.

Teach v. Mush’s Mongrels
Teach took his undefeated squad on the road to play Mush’s Mongrels desperate for a win. Teach saw average production across the board which is usually enough to be the Mongrels. Rhamondre put up 20, Mixon had 17, Higgins and Pollard had 12 a piece, and Waddle and Hill added 11 a piece. Romeo where art thou Romeo, he was no where to be found and went from Shakespeare to a nursery rhyme by producing a golden goose. Mush made a trade a couple weeks back and it looks like it is paying off. Kenny “I Walk the Line” Walker put up 29 points and had two tuds. I see London I see France I say Paris Campbell doing a TD Dance had 18 points. Mike Will added 18 too, but suffered an ankle injury. Christian Kirk got right and got 14 points and the non-TE Taysom Hill scored 11 points. It all was enough to best the best, Mush wins 136.2 to 119.25. Teach is no longer perfect, do I smell a rebuild?

v.

Batman v. Daddy Wombat
Batman finally had over 100 points. That’s a positive. He found points with Chuba Hubbard who had 14, but has an ankle injury. Juju put up 22 and MVS added 13. David Njoku added 11, but also has an ankle injury. While Batman got his points, these injuries do not bode well for his future. D.W. saw injuries too. Losing Russ this week and starting Matty Ice only to lose him for next week is tough. Jalen Hurts is right around the corner though. Kamara added 14 and so did Pierce. D-Hop is all the way back with 15. James Rob put up 0 points, but is now headed to the Jets. D.K. Metcalf only had 2 points and now has a knee injury. Adam Trautman was started and was ruled out before the game, tough look. D.W. also hit 100 points, but Batman had more. Batman wins 124.5 to 100.65.

v.

CrossFit v. PeePaw
CrossFit just came off a devastating loss. I’m talking gut wrenching. Can he bounce back? CrossFit is still struggling at QB, Dak only had 18, TB12 on his bench matched. Yikes. CMC in a forced start put up 7, which isn’t bad on 3 day notice. Ekeler is a monster with 31, and speaking of monsters Mostert had 20. Saquon put up a casual 16 points. CrossFit got more points, he added 13 from Kelce and 10 from Duvernay. PeePaw entered Monday Night hoping to reach 100 points. Monty was all he had left. Kenyan Drake put up 0.5 points and Gus Edwards rode the bench with 19.Davante had 14 and Aiyuk put up 12 points. Then PeePaw saw a lot of non-double digit scores. Monty had 12 and did not get the miracle PeePaw needed. CrossFit wins 138.07 to 100.35.

v.

Bruce v. JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons
Everyone knows regular season games don’t matter. Bruce had something to prove and JD3 already has everything a gal can dream of. Bruce had an absolutely nuclear performance from Joey B who had 53 points and Tyler Boyd was a part of that with 26 points. Zeke had 18, Najee added 10, JT had 12, and D.J. Moore showed up for 16. JD3 saw some of the Burrow points with Chase having 29. Mahomes had 40. Etienne the new lone back in Jacksonville had 18. JD3 with a bad move trusted Keenan Allen’s activation and Keenan got a whole 2 points. JD3 was down 17 and some change heading into Monday Night with no one else than Money Mooney. Was Mooney Money? Mooney was missed on a deep TD pass that may have put JD3 over. Bruce wins 163.75 to 153.25. Bruce was lead dog, JD3 was 3 on the week (TDG was 2, weird). Tough loss for the Joyful Demons and possible comeback season for Bruce.
