Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 14 Preview. This is the last shot for some teams to get into the playoffs. We have 7 teams fighting for the 6 seed. We have 5 teams jockeying for their bye week. Anything can happen. Dr. Tilt is above .500 and looking to stay that way. Then we wrap it all up with the final power rankings of the year. Let’s dive into our game of the week.
Game of the Week

v.

PeePaw v. Touchdown Guy
This is a matchup for the millions and millions of PCDL maniacs that subscribe to this blog. We have two heavy weight hitters and only the cream rises to the top. Unfortunately for these guys they may not be creamy enough. We have 3 teams in the mix here. These two and JD3. We will see at after the week who has the most cream in their cup. PeePaw v. TDG they do not need much introduction we will just dive into their head-to-head of their star-studded rosters. Herbert v. Allen, Cook v. Jacobs, Jeff Willy v. D-Train, Foreman v. Conner, Edwards v. Perine, Adams v. Evans, Jefferson v. Thielen, Lamb v. Gallup, Aiyuk v. Woods, and Schultz v. Kittle. TDG has the QB advantage, TDG has a slight RB advantage, but then the scales tip slightly to PeePaw across the board. TDG has the better football player in Kittle, but Schultz is the hot hand. I wouldn’t rely on either this weekend, Schultz won’t get the ball because the Boys will run all over Houston and Kittle has either the first or last pick in the NFL draft as his QB. PeePaw probably has more consistent RBs but TDG has RB1 in Jacobs and Henry who is due. The WR matchups are huge here and will swing the win. PeePaw has the young guns for the Vikings and Cowboys while TDG has the vets. We have a lot of overlap here and it will be interesting to see how things shake up. PeePaw is a 12 point favorite. PeePaw just needs it more, tough to see him lose this one. PeePaw also needs to beat JD3 by 4 points and the bye is his. In the event that TDG wins, he gets the 4 seed or if JD3 loses he can have the bye.

v.

Daddy Wombat v. JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons
This one could get ugly. D.W. is going to have a difficulty fielding a roster this week. D.W. has Hurts, Pierce, Metcalf and Higbee. JD3 has Mahomes, Sanders, Etienne, Chase, Hopkins, Allen and Diggs. JD3 controls his own destiny here. If he wins he likely gets the bye. JD3 just needs to keep the score within 4 points of PeePaw’s score. JD3 gets the win, but is it enough?

v.

Bottom Bunk v. Teach
Bottom Bunk can be the hero of the league here with an upset. No one likes Teach, they want him to stay after class. B.B. needs to get out of bed this week and pull the sheets over Teach’s successful season. It is near impossible. B.B.’s lineup is criminal. B.B. has Jamaal Williams and George Pickens. We don’t really need to talk about the rest. B.B. needs Teach’s whole team to get injured. Teach just needs to win and it’s on a silver platter. Teach’s shiny apple is sitting there, he just has to hope it doesn’t mush once he bites in. Tua, Hill, and Waddle. Tua and Waddle are banged up, maybe a late scratch costs Teach. Mixon banged up too. Stevenson, Hockenson, Pollard and Higgins are all healthy. Teach has the numbers, has the players, has the motivation and has the grades to get it done. Teach by a milly and he gets the bye.

v.

Pistol v. CrossFit
Pistol is done. He’s best shot is somehow getting the bye in the toilet bowl, for that he needs a Trashman win because Pistol is not winning this week. Murray, A.J. Brown and Garrett Wilson are no match for CrossFit’s lineup. CrossFit has Dak, CMC, Barkley, Ekeler, Mostert, Amari Cooper, Lockett, St. Brown, Kelce, and Freiermuth. CrossFit needs a win and a Teach loss to get the bye. Instead CrossFit is just going to settle for the 3 seed.

v.

Bruce v. Batman
Bruce is in a good spot. Win to get in. He could still get in with a loss and Mush beating Trashman while keeping his point total within 57 points of Mush. Bruce has Joey B. Zeke, Najee, Godwin and D.J. Moore. Batman might set his lineup this week. He would have Huntley, Swift, MVS, Juju and Jakobi Meyers. It is not a pretty lineup, but if he can get touchdowns then he has a shot. Bruce will likely be a 10 point favorite. I think Bruce’s floor is enough to get it done and the 6-seed is his.

v.

Mush’s Mongrels v. Trashman
Mush is a longshot to get into the playoffs. Mush somehow has the matchup where the team’s whole roster is on bye. Mush has James Cook, Kenny Walker, Mike Will, Deebo, Palmer, Kirk, Hollywood Brown and Diontae Johnson. Mush having two WRs on the same team is not great, but Trashman might not even have a WR in the lineup. Trashman has T-Law or Danny Dimes, Pacheco, Chubb, Mark Andrews, Cam Akers and Richie James. Mush is going to be a 50-point favorite and Trashman is going to be projected under 100 points. This one is going to be ugly. Mush by a milly, but it’s just enough to get the toilet bowl bye.

Dr. Tilt’s Week 14 Prescription
Vikings at Lions over 52.5
The line for this game opened at Vikings -2 and has flipped all the way to the Lions by 2.5. Not much has been said about the total though. There is a strong correlation to that line move and expecting the Lions to put up points. Expect a shootout in this NFC north game. With two terrible defenses, the two best sides of the ball are the offenses. Take the over in this indoor matchup.
Ravens +2.5 at Steelers
Yes Lamar went down last week, but that is all the more reason to bet that overreaction (wait to see if you can get a 3 out there). This line opened at Ravens -4.5 before Lamar was hurt and has subsequently moved 7 whole points. The Doc only makes the Ravens 2.5 points worse with Tyler Huntley at the helm, providing extreme value in this divisional matchup. Take the points in a divisional matchup. With a total currently sitting at 36.5, points will be at a premium in this one.
Panthers +4 at Seahawks
PJ Mayfield, Baker Walker, Cam Darnold, CSam Newton. Quarterback don’t mean nothing, Panthers by fo against a fading Seahawks team.
Last week: 2-1
Season: 21-20
And now for the final power rankings.

The power rankings are rankings of my final projections of the season. It has been quite the ride. We will see everyone next week as we gear up for the playoffs. Until next time I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Let’s Go!
