Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 14 Recap. The regular season is over baby. We got playoffs tomorrow. Let’s recap the final games of the regular season and check out Dr. Tilt.
Game of the Week

v.

PeePaw v. Touchdown Guy
We had drama up to the last minute here. TDG saw a big start from Josh Jacobs with 18. PeePaw only saw 9 from Adams. The odds shifted in TDG’s favor immediately and he did not take his foot off PeePaw’s neck. PeePaw saw a monster week from Justin Jefferson with 28, but TDG stole 16 points with Thielen. Add in Derrick Henry’s 19, an extra 11 in the kicker spot. PeePaw needed a monster week from Herbert and Jeff Willy. Jeff Willy unfortunately had a hip injury Sunday night, so the burden ended up on Herbert’s shoulders. Herbert ended the night with a solid 29 points, but PeePaw needed a good 40 to have a chance. TDG had just shy of a 2 point lead heading into Monday night, and only a James Conner fumble loss and 0 yards would cost him the game. TDG wins 143.95 to 121.95. TDG now becomes the 4-seed and will battle against a familiar face in the first round of the playoffs (hint hint, it’s PeePaw).

v.

Daddy Wombat v. JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons
D.W. had a chance to play spoiler, but JD3 showed up when it mattered most. D.W. saw 39 from Hurts, 12 from Pierce, 29 from Jerry Jeudy (of the Broncos, I know it is shocking), and 16 from Metcalf. The bye week really hurt D.W. and a few injuries were the cherry on top. JD3 needed a win and needed score a lot of points to keep the bye. JD3 did just that. I would walk 28 Miles Sanders points, Ja’marr Chasing you like a shot of whiskey had 24, Donovan Peoples-Champion-Jones had 17 points, and Keenan Allen was major key with 15 points. JD3 had D-Hop in his back pocket to add 9 points to the total. JD3 wins 152.6 to 107.61 and keeps the bye as the 2-seed.

v.

Bottom Bunk v. Teach
Bottom Bunk had 12 from Skowronek and 11 from Jamaal Williams. B.B. was trying to pull off a major upset and entered Monday Night down 7 with Nelson Agholor yet to play and Teach had a kicker and Stevenson. The odds were at 3% and that is probably B.B. highest odds all year. Teach got 22 from Tyreek, 20 from Pollard and 12 from Mixon. Teach avoids an epic collapse and wins 104.05 to 89.7 and has the 1-seed and bye.

v.

Pistol v. CrossFit
Pistol tanked to perfection. Pistol rode the hot hand early and then his team fell apart late. Pistol saw 15 from Marlon Mack and 11 form Garrett Wilson. Murray went on Monday night but his points do not matter. CrossFit is probably the best team entering the playoffs, he is so hot right now and all he does is put up big points. CMC had 28, Ekeler had 20, Lockett had 15, Freiermuth had 11 and St. Brown added 10. Solid performances elsewhere resulted in a big win, 141.3 to 63.25. CrossFit enters as the 3-seed and has an informal bye next week.

v.

Bruce v. Batman
Bruce needed a win to avoid any luck to get into the playoffs. He did not win, Batman pulled off an upset for the betterment of the league. How would the league respond? Bruce saw 16 from Zeke, 12 from Najee, 18 from Chark, and little to nothing from everyone else. Batman saw a lot of big time play from small time players. Hubbard had 17, Zay Jones had 18, Juju added 18, Van Jefferson had 11, DeVonta Smith with 15, and David Njoku matched 15. Batman wins 121 to 103.05. Mush needed 21 from Hollywood and came up short. Bruce gets into the playoffs by 15 points. Bruce is the 6-seed and faces CrossFit for an early exit interview in the playoffs.

v.

Mush’s Mongrels v. Trashman
Mush needed a win and points to get into the playoffs. Trashman needed a win. Trashman did not want it. Mush wanted it but would it be enough. Geno had 31, McKinnon had 29, Mike Will had 21, Deebo had 12, Diontae added 11, and Dawson Knox put up 12. Mush needed 21 points from Hollywood Brown to get into the playoffs, he got a monster 5 points from him. Trashman saw a monster week from T-Law but everyone else let him down. T-Law had 46, Richie James had 16, and Pacheco had 11. Trashman enters the Toilet Bowl with a bye. Mush wins 145.5 to 118.4.

Week 14: 3-0
Season: 24-20
What a week. We did not have any major collapses so that is frustrating. Chalk going into the playoffs. Tomorrow, we get into the big time matchups. We have four games because some lucky dogs are on bye. Hopefully you made it into the playoffs in your other leagues. Until next time I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Let’s Go!
