Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 11 Preview. We have some great matchups this week. I think this is a lot more exciting week than last week. Only 1 team has a sure win locked up. We have our GOTW, matchups, Professor Pickum and the Power Rankings.
Game of the week.

v.

JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. Pistol
JD3 is the PCDL’s fantasy app #1, Pistol is fresh off a GOTW win. These two rivals hate each other. We have a good matchup. The vet in Mahomes for JD3 versus the new hotness in Stroud for Pistol. The young RBs go at it with JD3 rolling out Etienne and Pistol lining up Kenny Walks. JD3 has Sing in the lineup right now but could shift to Hunt to have the Hunt Jerome Ford matchup against Pistol. Pistol goes a little deeper at RB, with Gibbs and Javonte Williams. Little rude to just slip them in here, but still old slow computer, the words do not show up until a few seconds after I’m done typing. Pistol rounds out the receiving core with Sutton, Wilson, Reed and A.J. Brown. JD3 goes deep at WR. Chase, Allen, McLaurin, D-Hop, Diggs and possibly Nico. Pistol has the clear TE advantage with Kincaid and could swing points that way if Kincaid finds the endzone over Diggs. JD3 will be about a 6 point favorite come kickoff. This will be quite the game, hope it ends in a shootout.

v.

Mush’s Mongrels v. Touchdown Guy
Mush has more byes, so it is tough to say this is a fair matchup this week. Mush has Deebo. TDG has Josh Allen (who lost me my pickum and I won’t forgive him), D-Train, James Conner, Thielen, Evans, Godwin, Kittle, Kupp and Nacua. I mean that is a lineup. TDG is an 86 point favorite. I thin this one ends up being closer than that. TDG wins by 75.

v.

Bruce v. Teach
Bruce is a coward. Teach stinks. Teach wins because Dobbs is going to feed Hockenson.

v.

Daddy Wombat v. Batman
D.W. is without Kamara this week. D.W. needs Metcalf to bounce back. Tank Dell is doing well. That’s about it. Batman has Hollywood and the Philly duo of Swift and Smith. That’s about it. Batman is a 20 point favorite, I think Batman handles his business and stays in the playoff hunt.

v.

PeePaw v. CrossFit
This is a great matchup. PeePaw is on the rise and CrossFit is the current (spoiler) #1 in the PCDL rankings. PeePaw has Herb and CrossFit has Dak, it’s a wash at QB. CrossFit has the RB names, CMC, Barkley, Ekeler. and Mostert. PeePaw has Monty, Warren, and Ty Chandler. Advantage CrossFit. PeePaw has the WRs, Lamb, Adams, Aiyuk and possibly JJ. CrossFit has St. Brown, Cooper and Lockett. CrossFit has the TE advantage in Kelce over PeePaw with Schultz. CrossFit will be a 13-17 point favorite by the time kickoff starts. I think this one is too close to call because I think PeePaw’s WRs close the gap while CrossFit’s RBs shrink the gap. I am going to give the edge to CrossFit solely based on the fact that Ekeler will have a huge game against Green Bay which will “hurt” Herbie.

v.

Bottom Bunk v. Trashman
B.B. is in an absolute pickle if Mattison is out. Bijan is on bye. That leaves his RB situation with Chase Edmonds and Isaiah Spiller who are projected 4.5 total points. B.B. needs to fill a flex spot. His options are Conklin, Hardman, Dyami Brown, Jalen Tolbert and Xavier Hutchinson. Conklin has the highest point projection of 5.5 points. B.B.’s only highlight is Breece Hall. Trashman should be alright. Aaron Jones, Pacheco, Addison, LaPorta, Andrews, and Curty Sam. I’m not sure if Trashman hits 100 points this week, but he’s still going to be a 35 point favorite. Trashman wins this one and B.B.’s playoff hopes slowly dwindle away.
That does it for the matchups, now we get into the picks.

Good morning class, we have the 8th study guide of Professor Pickum.
The Packers screwed the pooch for the Professor last week, those clowns can’t even lose the right way. Anyways, onwards and upwards we go.
Cincinnati @ Baltimore -3.5
Hypothesis:
- Though Cincinnati’s offense has improved alongside Joe Burrow’s health, they still have struggled to move the ball consistently against good defenses
- Baltimore defense isn’t good – it’s GREAT
- Barring a Lamar diarrhea game, I like the Ravens to win big
Tampa Bay +11.5 @ San Francisco
Hypothesis:
- That’s a lot of points for a team in San Fran who is 1-4 ATS in the last 5
- Tampa has covered 3 in a row and is 3-2 ATS in the last 6
Tennessee @ Jacksonville -6.5
Hypothesis:
- I like this as a good bounce back spot for the Jags after last week’s letdown
- Jags are 5-1 ATS in the last 6 while the Titans are 2-4 in the same stretch
- Titans are not road dogs. . . failing to cover yet this season in these spots
Professor Pickum was 2-1 last week and is 15-8 overall.
Now for the all new Power Rankings.

Nothing really going on here. PeePaw moves up a spot because he was lead dog (convincingly), Pistol just happened to be the one directly above PeePaw. Teach moves up a spot because some made up app says he’s a “contender” and D.W. moves down a spot just because I don’t know if they read this.
Well that does it for this week. Next week we got Turkey, so it will be another quick one. Until then I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Let’s Go!
