Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 4 Preview. I am a mess, all over the place, making the wrong moves, and completely thrown off. It is time to lock in and get back on track like some of our teams. We will dive into the game of the week, matchups, Professor Pickum, and all new power rankings.
Game of the week.

v.

Pistol v. Batman
Why not put Batman in the game of the week. We can be front and center to his continued dominance or epic collapse. Pistol is in the mix, looking for a statement win. Pistol has Kyler, Moss (Zack not Randy, Jerome Ford, Jordan Mason, Gibbs, Sutton, G-Wil, Jaylen Reed, Pitts and Kincaid. Outside of G-Wil none of his players really jump off the page, but all are productive. Pistol is a balanced team looking to stay in the mix as his team heals up. Batman is coming off of two easy matchups, this one will be a challenge. Batman has Lamar, Swift, Achane, Cook, Kyren Williams, Diontae Johnson, Olave, McBride, and Quienton Johnston. Batman also is waiting to see if DeVonta Smith is cleared for Sunday. Batman needs Smith in the worst way. We will have to wait until Sunday to see what Batman’s final lineup is. As of right now, Pistol is a one point dog, and I think Batman barely edges this one out. Should be a good one.

v.

Trashman v. Daddy Wombat
A team has to win this week. I don’t like either teams odds. Trashman has Jacob Cowing in his starting lineup. I don’t know or care to know who that team is. Just like you shouldn’t care about this matchup. These two teams are bad. D.W. has D.K. Metcalf. I think that is the difference, D.W. has an elite athlete on his team, whereas Trashman does not. D.W. is a 29 point favorite and will get a win this week.

v.

Teach v. PeePaw
Both teams need a win to get to .500 on the year. I don’t want to say these teams are desperate, but it’s getting close. Teach has Aaron Jones, Stevenson, Pollard, and B-Rob. BUT PeePaw has Kamara, Monty, and Charbonnet. PeePaw’s guys have been hotter. At WR Teach still has Hill and Waddle, which are bad WRs without a QB. If Boyle is the QB for the Phins, then Teach may see some production because Boyle’s don’t run. PeePaw has Lamb, Adams, Aiyuk, Rice, and Jefferson. Some of those guys will go off this week. That’s a guarantee. Teach has Brock Bowers at TE so the clear TE advantage in this matchup. I think Teach doesn’t have the juice and the projections show that, Teach is a 23 point dog, I don’t think Teach covers and PeePaw gets back on track.

v.

Mush’s Mongrels v. Bruce
Mush has Marvin Harrison Jr. Bruce has JT, Najee, Nabers, and Brian Thomas Jr. Bruce is a 41 point favorite and wins this week to remain undefeated. Mush loses and gains another buffer for that first pick.

v.

Bottom Bunk v. Touchdown Guy
B.B. is still starting AR15, the most volatile QB in the NFL. B.B. also has Bijan, Breece, Drake London, Pickens, and Goedert. TDG is still banged up. Evans, Godwin, and Kittle all have questionable designations. TDG is just up against it this year. TDG does have the tall Josh Allen, James Conner, Josh Jacobs, Tee Higgins, and D-Train. If TDG can edge out a win here, it will be a big deal. TDG just needs his team to get healthy, if he can get healthy after starting 3-1, watch out. TDG is a 18 point favorite and I think gets the win.

v.

JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. CrossFit
JD3 has the no name RBs that have produced this year in Sing and Dobbins. CrossFit has the known RB Saquon Barkley. JD3 has Nico and Chase. CrossFit has St. Brown and Shaheed. CrossFit is coming off of a big week. I’m not sure he’ll repeat the same production his week. JD3 may be lucky catching CrossFit in a lull. Right now JD3 is a 21 point favorite, but CrossFit is known to out perform.
Professor Pickum is back. Following a perfect week of 3-0, let’s take a peak at this weeks Study Guide.

Week 4 Study Guide
To my supporters out there, I am glad you cashed with us as we went PERFECT last week. To the Haters and Losers out there, of which there is one, I have to say” Keep my gotd*mn name out yo mouth, little typewriter boy! You can suck my **** from the back and tickle my ***** you little no ****-having, no ball-knowin ***, no pick having ***, hatin *** ***.
With that said (and drastically censored by yours truly), it’s just one week. We gotta stay humble and hungry. Time to move forward:
Last week, our system plays PAID. And overall, we had one particular system that wnet an impressive 4-1 ATS. In fact, all three of the dogs (who just so happened to be our 3 picks, won OUTRIGHT. Man, imagine if you parlayed them all together on the ML? Can you imagin?) That system was
- Early Season Winless Teams
- In the last now, 177 matchups in Weeks 3-6 involving a road team that has yet to win a game that team covers the spread 60% of the time.
There are three teams that meet the criteria for this system week. I like two of them:
- Cincinnati Bengals -4 @ Carolina Panthers
- Carolina may have experienced a bit of a dead cat bounce, if you will, last week. One that we gladly got paid on, but one that I expect to be put back to sleep against a desperate, wounded, and talented Cincy bunch. In the battle of the Pussycats – gimme the QB dressed the part, Joe Burrow.
- Tennessee Titans +1 @ Miami
- Okay, maybe “like” is too strong for this one. This game is going to SUCK. These teams suck. I don’t want to watch it, and I feel bad that Troy and Joe are going to need to suffer through it. BUT I owe it to the System Gods to put money back into the collection dish as a thank you for last week.
Which leads me to the third team that meets the system’s criteria, Jacksonville Jaguars +6.5 at Houston Texans. Hell no. I am not putting my faith in this Jaguars team. That was disgusting.
But wait there is one other system that paid last week for us to tap back into.
- Public Fade after Abysmal Loss
- In the last (now) 272 NFL matchups in which a team comes in having scored less than 10 points in their previous matchup AND in which their opponent is the public favorite (30%+ of betting differential) that team covers the spread 61% of the time. The Panthers and Broncos are the two most recent success stories from this system, both won outright last week.
This leads to my final pick of the week:
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2 @ Philadelphia Eagles
Professor Pickum is 6-3 overall (and coming for my job writing all that?).
We have our all new power rankings. These are completely unbiased after Week 3.

That does it for now. Good luck this week and I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Let’s Go!
