Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 12 Recap. This week is jam packed with life going on. Let’s just get into it and onto next week.
Game of the week.
v.
Bottom Bunk v. Bruce
Bruce needed the win to help out the playoff odds. B.B. is likely in. B.B. saw 15 from Monty, 13 from Justice Hill, and 12 from Lamb. Bruce had 40 from Jayden Daniels, 23 from D.J. Moore, and 0 from Likely. Despite Bruce’s attempt to tank by starting a player that put up 0, Bruce got it done. Bruce won 115.25 to 99.8. It is crazy to think that someone once said that Bottom Bunk was a good team.
v.
CrossFit v. Teach
CrossFit needs to win out to get in. Teach needs a win to probably stay in. CrossFit got his win and Teach did not. Barkley put up 44 for CrossFit, Hubbard had 15, and Turpin added a surprising 14. Teach saw 43 from Tua, 24 from Waddle, and 18 from Aaron Jones. All of that was in a losing effort. CrossFit got the win 138.99 to 125.45. CrossFit is on an absolute heater right now.
v.
JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. Pistol
JD3 loves to play spoiler. Pistol is looking to get in the offs. JD3 saw 40 from Mahomes, 19 from Keenan and Scary Terry. Pistol saw 26 from Sutton, 23 from Gibbs, and 20 from A.J. Brown. The QB play was the big swing. JD3 gets the win 144.95 to 121.25. JD3 keeps a 1 game lead and all but eliminated Pistol from the playoffs.
v.
Batman v. Mush’s Mongrels
Batman is locked into the playoffs after a big win. The big players were Irving with 24, 19 from McBride and Achane. Mush had 11 from Vele. Batman won 135.55 to 69.95. Batman, TDG, and JD3 are all in the playoffs and fighting for the first round byes.
v.
Touchdown Guy v. Trashman
TDG locked up a playoff spot. Jacobs had 29 points this week and TDG ended the week as the lead dog. Trashman started Tyler Allgeier who was on the bye. TDG won 159.85 to 99.95. TDG is waiting on a JD3 loss and TDG win to take over the top spot.
v.
PeePaw v. Daddy Wombat
This one does not matter. Daddy Wombat won 89.75 to 83.13 to keep the playoff hopes alive for another week.
Professor Pickum is 19 – 13 going into the week, let’s see the answer sheet.

Week 12 Answer Sheet
Pittsburg Steelers @ Cleveland Browns Under 37
Nope.
Denver Broncos -6 @ Las Vegas Raiders
BANG!
Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Commanders -10.5
Nope.
Professor Pickum is 20-15 on the year.
Well that does it. Tomorrow will be a quick one as well. I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow and even better Thanksgiving.
Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 12 Preview. We have the holiday week coming up. This will be a quick look at our matchups. Let’s get to the matchups, Professor Pickum, and the power rankings.
Game of the week.
v.
Bottom Bunk v. Bruce
This is a big matchup. Neither team should be in the spot they are. A win by Bottom Bunk should seal a playoff spot. Bruce needs two wins. The bye week is hurting both. B.B. is without Breece, Bijon, and London. Bruce is without Burrow, Cook, and Brian Thomas. B.B. is rolling out CeeDee, Pickens, and Monty. Bruce has J.T., Najee, and D.K. Bruce is a 13 point favorite. I think Bruce’s floor is better this week, B.B. will need some booms, but he loves to bust. Give me Bruce this week.
v.
CrossFit v. Teach
CrossFit needs to go on a run here to get into the playoffs. CrossFit has to win this week. He could sneak in with a loss and two wins, but a win this week keeps the options open. Teach needs a win to almost seal the deal. CrossFit is going with CMC, Barkley, and St. Brown. Teach is going with Mixon, B-Rob, and Tyreek. CrossFit has the edge this week as a 5 point favorite, but I think Teach pulls off the upset.
v.
JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. Pistol
JD3 already locked up a playoff spot. Pistol is hanging on to dear life. He needs at least two wins and probably some help. Pistol does not have a legit TE on his roster for this week. JD3 just scooped up the best option as a block. What a heady play. JD3 is relying on Nico, Dobbins, and Hunt. Pistol has Gibbs, Walker, and A.J. Brown. Once the lineups are set, this will be pretty close. I think JD3 gets it done.
v.
Batman v. Mush’s Mongrels
Batman will likely get a playoff spot after this week. Mush is probably the 1.01. Batman has Kyren, Achane, and Swift. Mush has Tracy, arguably his best draft pick in 2024. Batman is a 55 point favorite, I think he wins.
v.
Touchdown Guy v. Trashman
TDG is also going to lock up a playoff spot after this week. Trashman is eliminated from the playoffs. TDG has Henry, Conner, and Evans. Trashman has Dowdle. TDG is a 55 point favorite. I think TDG gets it done and is lead dog this week.
v.
PeePaw v. Daddy Wombat
This matchup does not matter and will not be talked about. PeePaw does not want to score points and neither should D.W. PeePaw is out of the playoffs, but D.W. technically still has hope. D.W.’s optimal points are only 50 more than Trashman. A true tanking would give D.W. the 1.02 spot. I think PeePaw wins this week.
Professor Pickum is now 19-13 lets look at the study guide.

Week 12 Study Guide
Pittsburg Steelers @ Cleveland Browns Under 37
Denver Broncos -6 @ Las Vegas Raiders
Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Commanders -10.5
Professor Pickum is 19-13 on the year.
Now for an all new power rankings.
CrossFit is on the rise, he’s so hot right now.
That does it for this week. Have a good one, enjoy some ball, and I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 11 Recap. Let’s just say, things are getting interesting. We have our game of the week, matchups, and Professor Pickum.
Game of the week.
v.
Teach v. JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons
Teach was out for blood. JD3 was on a 9 game winning streak. This would come down to Monday night with Teach having a 1 point lead. Teach had Mixon (and honestly was cheering a little too much for a player with a controversial past) and JD3 had Nico coming off of the IR. Neither team showed up. Mixon ended with 34 and Bowers had 25. JD3 saw 23 from Chase and 18 from Dobbins. Mixon did it for Teach, getting him the win 132.75 to 107.4.
v.
Pistol v. Bottom Bunk
Pistol and B.B. both made some trades to make the playoff push. This was an important game for Pistol. Pistol saw 19 from Gibbs and 17 from Chase Brown. B.B. saw 28 from Breece and 23 from Monty. B.B. had the bigger performances, B.B. got the big win 163.15 to 118.65.
v.
Bruce v. PeePaw
Bruce is half tanking, PeePaw is full tank. PeePaw had Bruce on the ropes heading into Sunday night. It would come down to the showdown between Burrow and Herbert. Bruce saw 41 from Burrow and 20 from Juann Jennings. PeePaw saw 33 from Herb and 21 from Jameson Willimas. If PeePAw saw anything from Mostert or Mike Williams, he would have pulled off a huge win. Bruce wins 137.6 to 128.87.
v.
Daddy Wombat v. Batman
D.W. is bad, Batman is good. D.W. saw 23 from Jeudy and 21 from Downs. Batman had 19 from Achane and 16 from MVS. The thing is that Batman had better production across the board. Batman got the win 127.75 to 116.25.
v.
Trashman v. CrossFit
Trashman is trash, CrossFit is hot. Trashman saw 17 from Christian Watson and 14 from Addison. CrossFit had a monster week, Goff with 49, St. Brown with 33, and Barley with 33. Some were thinking that CrossFit is going to be a problem, one of the members of our league mentioned that the Lions will not play the Jags every week. What a smart, and handsome, manger to think of that. CrossFit wins 166.86 to 89.25.
v.
Mush’s Mongrels v. Touchdown Guy
Mush is the worst team in the league and Touchdown Guy is one of the best. TDG almost quadrupled Mush this week. Mush had 0 from Pearsall, 0 from Gesicki, and 0 from Davis Allen. TDG had 39 from Taysom, 26 from Kupp, and 25 from Tee. TDG gets a big win 199.38 to 56.4. TDG was lead dog and is a game behind JD3, and has a clear points advantage.
Professor Pickum is now 18-11 lets look at the answer sheet.

Week 11 Study Guide
Green Bay Packers -5.5 @ Chicago Bears
Nope.
Las Vegas Raiders @ Miami Dolphins Under 44.5
Nope.
Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburg Steelers +3.5
BANG!
Professor Pickum went 1-2 and is 19-13 on the year.
Another quick one. This time the year flies by. Until next time, I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 11 Preview. We are booked tight. We are going to cruise through these previews. We have a game of the week, matchups, Professor Pickum, and an all-new power rankings. Let’s get this bread.
Game of the week.
v.
Teach v. JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons
Teach just lost a GOTW so why not put him right back in the spotlight. The guy is due. What is crazy about this matchup is that Teach’s Tua is projected more than Patrick Mahomes. That is crazy. Rumor is JD3 is a Phins fan so this is an absolute torture chamber. JD3 wants the Phins to win but wants to keep a 2 game lead in the PCDL. Teach needs a win bad. Teach has Mixon, Aaron Jones, and Tyreek as his 3 leading skill positions. JD3 is looking at Kamara, Ja’Marr, and Kareem Hunk. It will be interesting as this is a pretty even matchup. JD3 Is a 1 point favorite, but expect him to look at the waiver wire for a TE.
v.
Pistol v. Bottom Bunk
Pistol is on the outside looking in. B.B. is currently in the offs. These two teams could be in, out, or one in one out come week 15. That’s the beauty of this baby. Neither of these teams are beautiful. Pistol has Gibbs, Walker, and Chase Brown as his big three this week. B.B. needs a win in the next four weeks to likely seal a playoff spot. This week would solve a lot of problems. B.B. has Bijan, Breece, and Monty as his big three this week. Pistol is a 13 point favorite and I think his WR room outshines B.B.’s.
v.
Bruce v. PeePaw
Bruce is looking to flirt with that Playoff Line. PeePaw has no incentive to win this week. Bruce’s big three are JT, DK, and Zay. PeePaw’s big three are J.J. Tillman, and Jameson Williams. PeePaw has officially been eliminated from receiving a first round bye in the playoffs. Bruce is a 28 point favorite and wins despite trying to tank in weeks past.
v.
Daddy Wombat v. Batman
D.W. is still playoff eligible. Batman is trying to position himself for a first round bye. D.W.’s big three are Tank Dell, JSN, and Josh Downs. Batman’s big three are Kyren, Achane, and James Cook. Batman is a 45 point favorite. Batman gets it done.
v.
Trashman v. CrossFit
Trashman has been eliminated from the first-round bye. CrossFit is making a late playoff push. Trashman only has a big two with Chubb and Dowdle. CrossFit has a big three of CMC, Barkley, and St. Brown. CrossFit is going to be about a 45 point favorite, he gets it done.
v.
Mush’s Mongrels v. Touchdown Guy
Mush is officially eliminated from the playoffs. Mush also has no one worth mentioning this week. TDG is going to keep the #2 spot locked up for another week. While Mush has no one worth mentioning, every guy on TDG’s team is worth mentioning. We won’t, but D-Train, Jacobs, and Puka. TDG is going to be like an 80 point favorite. I think he squeaks this one out.
Professor Pickum is now 18-11 on the year needs a good study guide this week.

Now for an all-new power rankings.
We are just swapping the teams that beat the other.
Quick and painless, hopefully your matchups are this weekend as well. Until next time, I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 10 Recap. This is always the busiest time of year. Let’s just hit the highlights and get through it. Nothing exciting happened this week.
Game of the week.
v.
Bottom Bunk v. Teach
Nothing like a letdown. Neither team really looked good. That is not something you want during a playoff push. Neither QB had a good showing. B.B. saw a monster 28 from Bijan, 18 from Pickens, 14 from Drake London, 12 with Monty, and 10 from Breece. Teach saw 16 from Mixon, 11 from Aaron Jones and Hockenson, and 10 from Tyreek. Teach did not even hit 100, something we are use to seeing from Bottom Bunk. B.B. gets it done this week 114.88 to 97.05.
v.
Pistol v. Bruce
Pistol needed a win here. Pistol saw 18 from Chase Brown, 16 from Sutton, 13 from A.J. Brown, and 12 from Gibbs. Bruce tried to tank. However, Bruce is such a bad manager it backfired. Joe Burrow put up 49. Bateman had 14, JT and Jennings each had 13, and Najee had 11. Bruce’s big QB showing was enough to push him over the edge. Bruce pulled it out 127.7 to 118.25.
v.
Touchdown Guy v. Daddy Wombat
TDG had a big week, Ridley is back, somehow TDG finds a way. D.W. saw no stats from Juszczyk and McMillan. D.W. also saw -0.7 points from Zaccheaus. TDG wins 135.5 to 44.4. D.W. maybe put up the least amount of points in league history.
v.
Batman v. PeePaw
Batman did not do so hot this week, but luckily he was facing the dumpster fire in PeePaw. Batman had 46 from Lamar, aside from James Cook’s 15, no one else had double digits. PeePaw had 10 from Warren and 25 from Herbert. What a bad week. Batman was just a little better. Batman wins 111.3 to 76.22.
v.
CrossFit v. Mush’s Mongrels
CrossFit is looking to sneak into the playoffs. Mush never heard of her. CrossFit had big weeks from Hubbard and Ekeler, having 23 and 22 points. Kelce had 16 and CMC returned for 14. Throw in a St. Brown for 15 and 10 for Deebo and CrossFit had himself a weekend. Mush saw 15 from Pearsall, Tracy, 14 from Maserati Marv, and 10 from Mitchell. CrossFit wins against the worst team in the league 140.62 to 82.65.
v.
JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. Trashman
JD3 was lead dog again, Trashman did not hit 100. JD3 wins 154.2 to 85.5. JD3 saw a 50 burg from Chase. Trashman saw 0 from Isaac Guerendo.
Professor Pickum is 17-9 on the year let’s see his answer sheet.

Week 10 Answer Sheet
New England Patriots @ Chicago Bears Under 39
BANG!
Pittsburg Steelers @ Washington Commanders -2.5
Nope.
Buffalo Bills @ Indianapolis Colts +4
Nope.
Professor Pickum is now 18-11 on the year after a 1-2 week.
We will fly through this Week 11 tomorrow, until then I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 10 Preview. I got stuff going on, so this will be a quick one. Not a long going on in the matchups anyways. The Top 3 teams are playing teams in the bottom 4 and not to get political, no body cares about the middle ground. Let’s look at our matchups, Professor Pickum, and Power Rankings.
Game of the week.
v.
Bottom Bunk v. Teach
This is the only matchup with playoff teams. Bottom Bunk is coming off of getting demolished. Teach is coming off of a win. Will things stay the same or will they be different? B.B. has an injured roster, with Baker, Lamb, and London having questionable tags. Breece, Bijan, and Monty are good to go. Teach has some byes this week, Geno, Doubs, Kraft, and Bowers all are on bye. Teach is going with Tua, Hill, Waddle, Mixon, Stevenson, Aaron Jones, and Hock. Teach has more guys, B.B. has higher power if their healthy. Teach is going to be about a 7 point favorite. I think someone on B.B.’s team is a late scratch and B.B. comes up short this week, like last week. Give me Teach.
v.
Pistol v. Bruce
Pistol is trying to win this year. Bruce is tanking. Pistol is only a 5 point favorite this week. Pistol has Gibbs, Chase Brown, Davante, Sutton, G-Wil, and maybe A.J. Brown. Bruce is now starting Joe Burrow on the road against the Baltimore Ravens rather than Jayden Daniels who is at home. This is an obvious tank show by Bruce again. The last time Joe Burrow played in Baltimore he put up 13 points. Better yet, Bruce is going with Nabers and Slayton, two Giants WRs. What Bruce is doing is disgusting. Pistol needs to win this week.
v.
Touchdown Guy v. Daddy Wombat
TDG is a top team. D.W. is a bottom team. TDG has Allen, Henry, Kupp, Kittle, and Ladd. D.W. has Jeremy McNichols. TDG has 3 guys not expected to hit double digits, D.W. only has 3 expected to hit double digits. TDG is a 46 point favorite, I think TDG squeaks one out.
v.
Batman v. PeePaw
Batman is looking to repeat, PeePaw is repeating a failed season. Batman has Lamar, Cook, Kyren, and a rejuvenated Diontae Johnson. PeePaw has Justing Jefferson. I think PeePaw will have the top scorer in the matchup with Jefferson, but Batman gets it done as the 40 point favorite.
v.
CrossFit v. Mush’s Mongrels
CrossFit is looking to get the 1st start out of CMC this week. We do not know if CMC will play or not, and quite frankly, it doesn’t matter. Mush is bad. CrossFit could even start Dak this week and would be a slight favorite. CrossFit is rocking Hubbard, Barkley, St. Brown, Deebo, and Kelce. Mush has Maserati Marv and that’s it. CrossFit is a 44 point favorite this week, and despite recent history, I do not see a collapse in his future.
v.
JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons v. Trashman
JD3 is out in front. Trashman is near the back. JD3 has one starter not projected to hit double digits. Trashman has one starter projected to hit double digits. For the record, Trashman has 3 teams with byes still in his lineup. Trashman should end up with two starters with double digit projections. JD3 should be a 60 point favorite come kickoff. I mean what is Trashman doing?
Professor Pickum is now 17-9 on the year and coming off of a perfect week, let’s take a look at his study guide.

Week 10 Study Guide
New England Patriots @ Chicago Bears Under 39
Washington Commanders -2.5 @ Pittsburg Steelers
Indianapolis Colts +4 @ Buffalo Bills
Professor Pickum is now 17-9 on the year.
Now for an all new power rankings.
Bottom Bunk is sliding down the ranks, that’s the only movement we have. Pretty boring right?
That does it for this week. It’s a busy week, so enjoy the sports. Until next time I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 9 Recap. We predicted a juicy weekend, but I didn’t know the dogs would be doing the juicing. We got some upsets baby. Let’s look at our matchups and Professor Pickum while we wait on the ballots to come in.
Game of the week.
v.
Bottom Bunk v. JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons
B.B. had an 8 point lead going into Monday Night. B.B. needed a showing out of Baker Mayfield. Baker cooked but it was not enough. B.B. did see Bijan put up 18, Odunze had 13, Lamb had 12, Monty and Fergie had 11 a piece, and even Drake London put up 10 before he was ruled out. It was an ok week for B.B. However, when you are going against a team on a 7 game winning streak, you need to have a little more juice. JD3 entered Monday Night with 4 people to go. JD3 already saw 25 from Kamara, 24 from Dobbins, 17 from Mooney, and 15 from McClaurin. The bad was Pittman only having 2 points. Monday Night JD3 went bananas for a smooth 98 points between, Mahomes, D-Hop, Cotton, and Hunt. JD3 blew the doors off of B.B. 187.5 to 123.15. JD3 was lead dog this week.
v.
Mush’s Mongrels v. PeePaw
I forgot why PeePaw hates Mush, but Mush did not forget. The Mongrels mauled PeePaw this weekend. Rodgers had 30, Mike Gesicki had 25, Palmer had 13, and Legette le got 12. PeePaw had a bad week. J.J. had 18 and Tillman had 17. PeePaw didn’t hit 100, which is bad. Mush wins this one 102.85 to 79.05. Mush gets his first win on the season.
v.
Teach v. Touchdown Guy
Teach needed a win in a bad way and he was going up against TDG who has been lead dog all year. Teach would sub out Tua for Geno. Geno went crazy for 34. Teach had all four RBs hit double figures, Stevenson had 20, Pollard and Mixon mixed in 17 a piece, and Aaron Jones had 10. Tyreek even added 10. Last but not least rookie sensation Brock Bowers put up a baker’s dozen. TDG had some all time bad performers this week. Mike Wilson had 0, Zach Ertz had 1, and Puka Nacua had 2 before he was ejected for throwing hands. D-Train had 26, Kupp had 16, Conner had 13, and Ridley had 10. It was a solid week for TDG, the problem was those dud performers. Teach had points across the board. That would be the difference. Teach gets a monster upset 139.85 to 121.15. TDG’s loss gives JD3 room for error at the top.
v.
Pistol v. CrossFit
We are in overtime on Monday Night and this would come down to the wire. Pistol holding his breath because Kyler put up 8 points. Pistol had some help, G-Wil had 26, Chase Brown had 24, Sutton had 22, Davante had 19, Reed had 15, Gibbs had 14, and Kenny Walker had 12. What a big week from Pistol’s guys. CrossFit saw a monster week out of Saquon with 31, Hubbard had 20, Ekeler had 17, and St. Brown had 15. It would come down to Rachaad White and Travis Kelce. Entering OT CrossFit needed like 5 points. Ultimately, White and Kelce would combine for 26, which would be 2 short. Pistol gets a big win 144.9 to 142.75.
v.
Bruce v. Daddy Wombat
Hand up, I was wrong. I thought Bruce would win as a 30 point favorite, but I forgot that he is tanking. Bruce started a Rookie QB over QB4 on the year Joe Burrow that played the worst team in the NFL in the Las Vegas Raiders. Bruce is clearly tanking. D.W. did something incredible, D.W. owns one of Bruce’s picks next year. This win makes that pick better. End of story. Bruce saw 27 from Flowers and 10 from Nabers. Joe Burrows 44.35 bench points did not help Bruce at all. D.W. saw 34 from JSN, 17 from Tank Dell, 11 from Jeudy and 10 from Downs. Cole Kmet had 0 points but would not be outdone by Xavier Worthy who totaled -1 points on the week. D.W. would still win 108.28 to 104.35.
v.
Trashman v. Batman
Trashman had 19 from Rico Dowdle and 14 from Jordan Addison. Batman had 34 from Lamar, 28 from Achane, 17 from Devonta Smith, 15 from Jakobi, 11 from McBride and Swift a piece, and 10 from Kyren. Batman had a solid week, it will fly under the radar because Trashman is a bad team. Batman wins 142.3 to 82.85.
Professor Pickum is now 14-9 on the year let’s check out the answer sheet.

Week 9 Study Guide
Houston Texans @ New York Jets Under 43
BANG!
Los Angeles Chargers @ Cleveland Browns Under 43
BANG!
Washington Commanders -4 @ New York Giants
BANG!
Professor Pickum went 3-0 and is now 17-9 on the year.
What a week, not sure that a ton really changed. We will find out tomorrow when we put the power rankings together, but I think just like the NFL, the bad teams are bad and the good teams are good. Until next time, I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 9 Preview. It’s a juicy week with juicier matchups. Last week we saw a lot of points and even Professor Pickum going above .500. This week, we would like to see the same. Let’s see if the teams have what it takes, along with Professor Pickum and an all new power rankings.
Game of the week.
v.
Bottom Bunk v. JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons
If at the start of the season you would have told me B.B. would be in the game of the week this late in the season, I would have assumed it was out of pity. B.B. has earned this spot and is looking to take home a trophy this year. He is the only contender that has never been in the mix before. I think B.B. made the playoffs before, but never was B.B. a serious contender. B.B. is looking to get a big win here and jump JD3 in the rankings. B.B. has Bake, Breece, Bijan, Monty, Lamb, London, and Odunze. JD3 is looking to stay at the top, he will need to win the QB matchup. JD3 has Mahomes, Hunt, Dobbins, Kamara, McLaurin, Chase, and Mooney. JD3 will need a surprise player to step up as he is a 9 point dog. That is right JD3 is a dog to B.B., what a world. This will be a good matchup and should end up being decided on Monday night.
v.
Mush’s Mongrels v. PeePaw
There has been a lot of trash talk, now both teams are trash. The trash talk was ultimately one sided and may have resulted in said manager ending up in a rebuild. Both of these teams are rebuilding. PeePaw is a 20 point favorite and will win this week, but let’s look at their futures. Mush has been in a rebuild since the beginning. He has Maserati Marv, Ricky Pearsall, Xavier Legette, Adonai Mitchell, Trey Benson, and Tyrone Tracy to show for it. One maybe two of those names jump out at you. In the year 2025, Mush has 4 1sts, 1 will be the 1.01 and another should be the 1.05 or 1.06. The last two will be decided at the end of the playoffs. Mush is still looking for a QB, and really only has a WR right now. PeePaw is also rebuilding. PeePaw has 2 1sts, 3 1sts, and 2 1sts over the next 3 years. PeePaw has Justing Jefferson, Keon Coleman, Wandale Robinson, Boutte, Caleb Williams, Herbert, Aiyuk, Rice, and Mims. I think it is safe to say PeePaw is in a better rebuild position than Mush. This should be short lived, probably a 2 year rebuild. I think PeePaw wins this week and the rebuild marathon.
v.
Teach v. Touchdown Guy
Teach is looking to stay in the hunt, TDG is looking to stay at the top. If TDG wins and one team loses, TDG is the new favorite. This is an important matchup. Teach is going to live and die on the Miami trio. He always has and always will. The Phins play the Bills this weekend, so it is not promising for Teach. Mixon, Aaron Jones, Pollard, B-Rob, Doubs, and Bowers all will need to make up the difference for Teach. TDG is coming off of almost 190 points. This would be a trap spot, but TDG does not take his foot off the gas. Josh Allen is tall, D-Train, James Conner, Josh Jacobs, Puca, Kupp, Ridley, Ladd, and Higgins. I mean what a group of guys. TDG has the better names, guys with more upside, more points, wins, better bod, everything the Teach doesn’t have. TDG is a 9 point favorite this weekend, I think TDG gets it done and keeps the pressure on all playoff contenders looking for a bye.
v.
Pistol v. CrossFit
Pistol is coming off of a loss, so is CrossFit. These teams are desperate for a win. They need a win to get close to that last playoff spot. Pistol has Gibbs and Kenneth Walker. Pistol is going with Chase Brown over Javonte Williams this week, that choice may cost him. Pistol is going with Pitts this week, a choice that cost him last week. Pistol’s WR room is fully loaded, Davante, Jaylen Reed, G-Will, Sutton, and A.J. Brown. CrossFit needs a win. CrossFit has Dak, which is hit or miss. CrossFit has Barkley, Racheed White, and Ekeler. CrossFit’s WR room has Amari Cooper, St. Brown, Locket, and at TE is Kelce. Pistol is a 14 point favorite. CrossFit has some iffy players in his lineup. I think Pistol gets the win and CrossFit looks towards a rebuild.
v.
Bruce v. Daddy Wombat
Bruce and Daddy Wombat made a trade right before kickoff. D.W. receives a first and a third for D.K. Metcalf. This trade makes D.W. not relevant nor this matchup. Bruce is a 30 point favorite. Bruce has Nabers, Najee, D.J. Moore, and JT. Bruce gets his first win in four weeks.
v.
Trashman v. Batman
Trashman has Nick Chubb. Batman has Lamar, Kyren, Achane, Cook, Devonta, Olave, and Swift. Batman is a 50 point favorite. Batman is going to win. If Batman thinks this was a short write up for him, it was, and Trashman should be to blame for having such a bad team.

Week 9 Study Guide
Houston Texans @ New York Jets Under 43
Los Angeles Chargers @ Cleveland Browns Under 43
Washington Commanders -4 @ New York Giants
Professor Pickum is now 14-9 on the year.
Now for an all new power rankings.
Things have really settled in, the middle teams will shuffle around here and there, but things might be set for awhile.
That does it for this week, it should be a good one. Check in next week to see how we ended up and until next time I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 8 Recap. What a week. We had some big time scorers this weekend. We also saw a team continue a downward spiral. The middle of the pack teams did some reshuffling. It will be interesting to see how things shake out going forward. Let’s take a look at the games and Professor Pickum.
Game of the week.
v.
Teach v. Pistol
This was for the battle of the 6 seed. Turns out the winner of this is sitting comfortably in the 5 seed. This would go into Sunday night, with Pistol having Purdy and Mason going. It came down to the wire. Teach went with the Miami trio that put up 37 points. Not a great showing. The points came from Mixon’s 21, Shakir’s 15, Pollard’s 12, and 10 from Aaron Jones. Pistol had some good plays as well. Gibbs put up 20, G-Wil had 14, and A.J. Brown and Kincaid each had 11. Purdy showed up on Sunday night for 32, but Jordan Mason only had 2 points. It was a tragic end to Pistol’s night coming up just short, Teach wins 124.1 to 118.7. If the playoffs were today, Teach is in and Pistol is out.
v.
Bruce v. Batman
I understand that going against Batman is not easy. Batman has a solid squad. However, starting Noah Fant as a flex play should be investigated. The only explanation is that Bruce is tanking. Why would Bruce tank when he traded away his pick? I do not know, Bruce has made questionable decisions since the debut of this league. All I know is that starting Noah Fant in a week when there are no byes, this raises a lot of questions. Bruce needed a miracle on Monday night to beat Batman. Bruce saw 18 from JT, 14 from Brian Thomas Jr., and 12 from Evan Engram. BTJ ultimately got banged up this week, so Bruce’s skid will might continue next week. Batman put up some points this weekend. Lamar had 33, Cook had 27, Kyren had 20, Swift had 19, DeVonta had 18, McBride had 17, Olave and Njoku each had 15, and Jakobi Meyers had 14. The “bad” play by Batman was Chuba Hubbard’s 8 points. Bruce saw a total of 26 from Najee and Nabers. Batman won 185.15 to 114.7.
v.
Daddy Wombat v. CrossFit
Mind you, CrossFit was a 36 point favorite going into this matchup. There is no way that CrossFit lost right? D.W. had a big week from Kirk with 42, Downs put down 21 points, Tank Dell and Xavier Worthy each had 12, and Jerry Jeudy even added 10. A solid week from D.W. but not unbeatable. CrossFit was bad. Travis Kelce had 20, Rachaad White added 13, Barkley had 12, and Deebo had 11. The bad came from Amari, Douglas and Locket all scoring 2 or less points a piece. D.W. wins 124.38 to 98.81. This win does not hurt D.W.’s draft pick, but certainly puts a strain on CrossFit’s playoff aspirations.
v.
Trashman v. Bottom Bunk
Trashman had two players score more than 10 points, both were tight ends. That is a bad sign for your team. LaPorta had 14 and Mark Andrews had 12. B.B. had a big week. Bottom Bunk cranked up the heat with his new team. Bake show put up 35, Ceedee had 33, Bijan had 20, and Monty had 17. B.B.’s two new players won this week on their own. That is an incredible turnaround. B.B. went from the laughing stock of this entire league to a potential frontrunner. It will be an interesting end of the season with B.B. in the mix. B.B. wins 148.35 to 56.5.
v.
PeePaw v. Touchdown Guy
PeePaw had TDG on the ropes early. This just fired up TDG’s guys. TDG put on a clinic. First, PeePaw did hit 100 points in a rebuild, so that is a good sign. Cedric Tillman had 25, Mostert, Jefferson, and Keon Coleman all had 16 a piece, and Jaleel McLaughlin added a dozen. TDG wanted it bad. Zero players had single digit points. The Tall Josh Allen and the young Ladd had 29 a piece, Kittle had 22, Ridley had 18, Puka had 15, Conner, D-Train, and Kupp each had 14, and Mike Wilson even added 12. What a week for TDG. TDG is the lead dog this week, he’s also lead dog on the year. TDG wins 190.25 to 114.15.
v.
Mush’s Mongrels v. JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons
Mush put up points this week. Tyrone Tracy had 22, Maserati Marve had 20, Legette had 11, and Ricky Pearsall had 10. JDG put up more points. Cade Otton had 25, Mooney had 17, Chase had 16, Dobbins, Kamara, and McLaurin each had 15, Hunt had 13, and Diggs had 10. Diggs is out for the season, which hurts JD3’s odds this year. Luckily he has a deep bench, but losing a top talent like Diggs hurts. JD3 may make a move for a WR before the deadline, but let’s wait and see. JD3 wins 154.7 to 112.65.

What a high scoring week. I think things are shaking up to show that the divisions, top, middle, and bottom. Tomorrow we will have a couple big time matchups that will shake up the rankings. Tune in tomorrow to see those matchups, and until then, I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
Good morning everyone, welcome to the Pot Cakes Dynasty League Week 8 Preview. We are half way through the season.
Game of the week.
v.
Teach v. Pistol
This is a big matchup. These two teams are on the bubble. As of today Pistol is in and Teach is out. That makes sense looking at the projections, Teach is a 6 point dog. Teach’s entire season rides on if Tua makes a comeback and returns to Tua of old. Tua, Tyreek, and Waddle are all getting the nod this week. Teach also has Aaron Jones, B-Rob, Mixon, and Bowers. These guys should all be fine, but that Dolphins trio is going to make or break the season for Teach. Pistol made some moves early, and is looking for that quick trigger to work out long term. Javonte Williams, Kenny Walks, Gibby, and Jordan Mason are all stable RBs for Pistol. Pistol added Davante to his lineup, and he could be the big swing Pistol needed, or his downfall. A.J. Brown, Jayden Reed, and G-Will round out the team. Pistol is the favorite, and as much as I love Tua, I think there is a little rust, Pistol unloads a win this weekend.
v.
Bruce v. Batman
Bruce is in a downward spiral. Batman is trying to stay afloat. Bruce and Batman made a pivotal trade ahead of this matchup. Batman sent 2 Third round picks and Lil’Jordan Humphrey and DJ Turner to Bruce for Tyler Boyd and Bub Means. Bruce then went and cut the two players. What an insane move, essentially Batman received Bub Means, a 3rd Round NFL Draft Pick, for free. All time bad move by Bruce and is the reason he’s only failed in this league. Bruce needs JT and Zay Flowers to play this weekend. Bruce also has Najee, Brian Thomas Jr. and Malik Nabers. Batman has Lamar, Kyren, Diontae Johnson, Chuba, DeVonta, Olave, James Cook, and Njoku. Batman is a 7 point favorite, but in reading the lists of names, Batman is better on paper, and I’m all about chasing paper. Batman wins this week.
v.
Daddy Wombat v. CrossFit
D.W. has Hurts, Tank Dell, and JSN. CrossFit has Barkley, Amari, Deebo, and St. Brown. CrossFit is a 36 point favorite and desperate for a win. D.W. is coming off of a 50 point week. CrossFit gets his bounce back and will be right in the mix for that final playoff spot.
v.
Trashman v. Bottom Bunk
This has to be talked about. Not Trashman, Trashman is a nothing burger. Trashman still has Nick Chubb in his IR spot, which is illegal, but our commissioner is a coward and won’t do anything about it. Bottom Bunk was active yesterday. I cannot describe the gif that was sent to chat. It was explicit. But Bottom Bunk traded away 3 1st Round picks and Jameosuspended Williams to PeePaw for CeeDee Lamb and David Montgomery. B.B. then drops Jamaal Williams instead of making some roster moves to keep all his other guys. While Bottom Bunks team drastically improved, his management moves still raise some questions. This is an A- move, just because of the cut. Looking at B.B.’s team, not only did he land a trade for a top 5 dynasty player, he already has a young team. Bake, Breece, Bijan, Monty, Lamb, Drake, Pickens, and Odunze. B.B. is a 59 point favorite, this is the exact game you want to fire up your team and new teammates.
v.
PeePaw v. Touchdown Guy
PeePaw is in rebuild. He will be focused on the draft for the next couple years. PeePaw has Caleb Williams, Justin Jefferson, Wandale Robinson, and Keon Coleman. PeePaw even sent Kamara away for a 1st to a team below. Endless picks for PeePaw, hopefully he doesn’t miss on all of them like Mush did last year. Ahead of this week PeePaw and TDG made a trade. TDG receives Calvin Ridley for a 2nd Round pick. PeePaw is just loading up on picks. TDG is hoping to get Kupp and Puka back. TDG has Josh Allen, D-Train, Jacobs, Conner, and Higgins. TDG is a 27 point favorite. PeePaw is rebuilding, TDG is looking at a seed with a bye. TDG wins this weekend.
v.
Mush’s Mongrels v. JonnyDIII’s Joyful Demons
Mush is the last place team. JD3 is the first place team. Nothing changes this week, JD3 is a 42 point favorite. Mush will not even cover this week. JD3 added Kamara to the lineup, this marks another year where JD3 trades a first for a savvy vet. Hopefully Kamara ends up better than D-Hop, although D-Hop may make a resurgence on the Chiefs.
Professor Pickum is now 12-8 on the year. He has had 3 weeks of going 1-2. He needs to put up some good picks, let’s take a look at his study guide.

Now for an all new power rankings.
These are fairly boring. B.B. deserves to move up, Bruce and Teach deserve to move down.
Well, that does it for this week. The next two teams to keep an eye on for some trades are CrossFit and Trashman. Trashman should go full rebuild. CrossFit should either look to Trashman to acquire some guys or go for a rebuild. PeePaw moving on the rebuild early ensures a lot of draft capital moving forward. Other rebuild teams might miss their window to capitalize on some picks. Well, halfway through the season and it is getting spicy. Until next time, I hope you and yours have a better tomorrow.
